Vet Claps Back at Politician's Wildin' Reddit Posts, No Cap
Maine Senate candidate gettin' dragged for disrespectin' a Purple Heart soldier and tryin' to play the PTSD card; the streets ain't buyin' it.

Aight, so check it. This politician dude, Graham Platner, runnin' for Senate out in Maine, thought he was slick dissing a war vet on Reddit. This ain't no Twitter beef, this is straight disrespect. He was talkin' smack about Teddy Daniels, a soldier who caught bullets for this country, sayin' he 'didn't deserve to live' after seein' a video of him gettin' shot up by the Taliban. SMH.
Now, normally, folks would expect a apology, right? Nah, son. This cat tried to play the PTSD card, sayin' his issues made him say dumb sh*t. But Teddy Daniels ain't havin' it. He came back hard, sayin' he don't even respect Platner enough to care about his apology. 'I saw the video and honestly, I don't want an apology. I don't need an apology. I consider the source of where the comment came from, and I'm the type of person that — in order for me to worry about what you say — first I have to respect you,' Daniels said. Real talk.
Turns out, this Platner dude been postin' wild sh*t on Reddit for years, callin' himself a 'communist' and sayin' all kinda crazy stuff. The Maine Monitor dug up the receipts, showin' he even praised Hamas, fam. And he dissed 'American Sniper' Chris Kyle, makin' it sound like he was killin' innocent people. Straight bogus.
Daniels called him out for usin' his PTSD as an excuse, sayin', 'I think Graham Platner is using his PTSD as a crutch, as a means to avoid accountability for his actions.' See, the streets know when somebody frontin'. PTSD is real, but it ain't a get-out-of-jail-free card for bein' a jerk.
At the end of the day, this shows how some of these politicians really feel about the troops and the everyday folks who keep this country runnin'. They'll smile in your face, but behind closed doors, they're talkin' trash. We gotta be smarter, y'all. Do your research, and don't let these cats gaslight you. Keep it 100 and vote for people who actually represent the community, not just themselves.
It's like, these politicians come around election time, wantin' to dap you up and eat BBQ, but then they turn around and stab you in the back. We gotta hold these folks accountable, man. Cause at the end of the day, it's about respect. Show respect, get respect. Disrespect, and you gonna get clapped back at, period. This Platner dude learned that the hard way. He thought he could just say anything online and get away with it, but the internet never forgets. And neither do the streets.
Sh*t like this makes you wonder who's really out here for the people. Politicians be lyin' through their teeth to get votes. But when it comes down to showin' respect to the ones who put their lives on the line for this country, they be failin' miserably. We need real leaders, not clowns playin' games with people's lives. Wake up, y'all. It's time to hold these cats accountable.
