Powell Trippin': Fed's 'Independence' Don't Mean Sh*t to the Streets
Ex-Fed chair talkin' 'bout political interference like the system wasn't designed to keep us down, fam.

Aight, check it. Jerome Powell, the ex-head honcho of the Federal Reserve, out here cryin' 'bout political interference. Man, that's rich. Like the Fed ever gave a damn 'bout what the people need. This dude in Boston, acceptin' some bougie John F. Kennedy award, actin' like Trump tryna fire Lisa Cook is some kinda tragedy. Nah, tragedy is the rent bein' too damn high and wages stayin' stagnant.
Powell, replaced by Kevin Warsh but still chillin' on the board, claimin' the Fed's under a 'stress test.' The real stress test is tryin' to feed your family when the system rigged against you. He's worried 'bout politicians messin' with monetary policy. I'm worried 'bout where my next meal comin' from.
"If any administration finds a way to remove Fed officials over policy differences,” Powell say, “then future administrations will do so as well”. So what? The whole system built on power plays. Ain't nothin' new under the sun. The Supremes lookin' at Trump's play to get rid of Lisa Cook. Trump said she was doin' some shady stuff with mortgages, but come on, that's the game, ain't it?
Cook denyin' everything, of course. They all do. A judge stopped the firing, sayin' her past ain't matter. See, that's how they protect they own. Powell callin' this “perhaps the most important legal case in the Fed’s 113-year history.” Nah, the most important thing is makin' sure folks got food on they table and a roof over they head. This ain't about us.
Powell want us to think the Fed makin' decisions based on 'economic analysis.' But whose economy they analyzin'? It ain't the economy of the block. It's the economy of Wall Street, the billionaires, the folks who already got everything.
The JFK Library givin' Powell an award for resistin' 'political forces.' But the Fed is a political force! They just operate behind closed doors, makin' decisions that affect all of us, but we got no say. He quoted Edmund Burke, sayin' democratic institutions can be torn down quick. Maybe they should be torn down. Maybe we need somethin' new, somethin' that actually works for the people.
So next time you hear 'bout the Fed, remember: they ain't yo friends. They ain't lookin' out for you. They lookin' out for they own pockets. Keep it 100, fam. This ain't about independence; it's about power and control.
