Union Dues Getting Funneled to the Dems? Nah, That Ain't Right
They sayin' the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers is playin' favorites with that union money, and a lot of folks ain't feelin' that.

Aight, listen up. Word on the street is the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen, that's a big union right?, is catchin' heat for how they spendin' they money. The American Accountability Foundation dropped a report, and it's got some folks heated. They sayin' this union is supposed to be lookin' out for all its members, but they actin' like they only rockin' with the Dems. That ain't how it's supposed to be, fam.
See, a lot of these union workers, they ain't necessarily feelin' what the Democrats be pushin'. Some of 'em rockin' with Trump, some ain't into all that woke stuff. But this report sayin' the union leadership been endorsin' folks like Harris-Walz and hangin' with Bernie Sanders. That ain't representin' everybody, know what I'm sayin'?
Unions supposed to be about power to the people, right? Fightin' for better wages, better benefits, lookin' out for the lil' man. But when they start playin' politics like this, it divides folks. It makes people feel like they voice ain't bein' heard. And that ain't cool.
The report also talkin' about how the union been hatin' on Trump-era policies, but givin' Biden the thumbs up. They sayin' the union been droppin' tweets trashing Trump while praisin' Biden, like they tryna sway folks one way or the other. That's some sus behavior right there.
But here's the real tea: the money. The AAF sayin' the union been spendin' millions on political stuff, and most of it goin' to the Dems. Like, 99% of the party committee donations goin' blue. That's wild. It's like they tellin' everybody who ain't down with the Dems to kick rocks.
They gave the DNC $15,000 back in 2016 when they were tryin' to get Hillary in office. Nothin' to the Republicans. In 2024, $53,400 to Democrats and a measly $2,000 to Republicans. That just shows where they loyalties lie, right?
At the end of the day, this is about respect. Union members work hard for they money. They expect they union to represent them, all of them, not just the ones who agree with the leadership. If the union ain't doin' that, then somethin' gotta change.
Folks need to start askin' questions. Demand some transparency. Find out where that money really goin'. And if the union ain't listenin', then it might be time to find a new union. Or start one that's really about the people. This for the working class, by the working class. Straight up.
This ain't about Democrat vs Republican. This is about keepin' it real. This is about standin' up for what's right. And this is about makin' sure everybody's voice gets heard. No cap.
Stay woke, y'all.
