Judge Put the Brakes on Trump Tryna Snoop on Black College Apps, Fam
Feds tried to get the tea on race in college admissions, but a judge said 'Nah, slow ya roll,' protectin' folks privacy from the opps.

Yo, check it, so this judge in Boston just straight up cockblocked Trump's crew from diggin' into college applications tryna see who's Black, who's Brown, and who ain't. They was movin' shady, tryin' to collect all kinda data on race, claimin' they just wanna make sure colleges ain't playin' favorites. But we know what time it is – this ain't 'bout fairness, it's 'bout tryna keep us out.
Trump been on this tip ever since he got in office, talkin' 'bout how colleges be usin' race as a factor, even though the Supreme Court said that's a no-go (kinda). But they still let schools see if race affected an applicant's LIFE if they share it in their application. Now the Feds wanna go full CIA with it and peep everybody's application.
Them state AGs, the ones on our side, they stepped up and sued, sayin' this mess is invading students' privacy and gonna lead to colleges gettin' harassed for no reason. They ain't lyin'. Michelle Pascucci, the lawyer reppin' the states, said it's all a sloppy, last-minute hustle to try and find dirt on schools. Sounds about right.
The Education Department, fronted by Linda McMahon, tryna act like this is all 'bout taxpayer transparency. Like they actually care where the money goin' if it ain't into they own pockets? Please. They just wanna shut down any program that's helpin' Black and Brown kids get ahead.
This is the same game they played with Brown and Columbia. Force them to hand over data on students by race, GPA and test scores. Then threaten to cut off their bread. These colleges are gonna be singin' like Ashanti if they start playin' these games. It is pressure, and we can't sleep.
And peep this, they wanted all this info retroactively for the past SEVEN years? Talk about a fishing expedition. They was hopin' to catch some schools slippin', but the judge shut 'em down – for now, anyway.
They even sued Harvard over this same stuff, tryin' to get their hands on admissions records. It's a whole campaign to keep us outta them fancy schools, plain and simple. This ain't 'bout fairness; it's 'bout maintainin' the status quo.
So, this judge's decision is a small victory, but we gotta stay woke. They're gonna keep comin' at us, tryin' to tear down anything that lifts up the community. Gotta stay ten toes down and fight for our spot at the table. On GOD.
