Trump's Tryna Build a Whole Arch Next to the Graveyard, Nahmean?
They sayin' a 250-foot 'Arc de Trump' gettin' built near Arlington, but who it really benefit, tho?

Aight, so check it, they tryna build this massive arch, like 250 feet tall, right next to Arlington Cemetery. They callin' it the 'Arc de Trump.' You know what that is? A whole lotta extra. This Commission of Fine Arts, bunch of folk appointed by Trump, already gave it the green light. Now it's goin' to the National Capital Planning Commission. Real talk, who asked for this?
This dude Rodney Mims Cook Jr., the head of the Commission, said Washington ain't 'static' and gotta grow. Grow for who, fam? Sounds like growin' for rich folks and folks tryna put they name on everything. They sayin' it's gon' be 'beautiful,' but beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and I ain't seein' nothin' beautiful 'bout this.
They sayin' this arch gon' be an 'iconic landmark' and remind us of the soldiers who sacrificed. But real talk, you wanna honor the soldiers, take care of the vets comin' back home. Make sure they got jobs, healthcare, and a place to stay. Don't be buildin' no monuments to yourself while they struggle.
Some vets and historians already sued to stop this mess, sayin' it ain't got Congress approval and gonna mess up the vibe at Arlington. Plus, block the view to the Lincoln Memorial. Can't even pay respects in peace no more. They always gotta find a way to mess wit something sacred.
They still 'calculatin' the cost' and sayin' it's gon' be public and private money. Bet your bottom dollar that public money come outta our pockets. Meanwhile, they cuttin' funds for schools and affordable housing. Priorities is all messed up. The man really said the Quiet Part Out Loud.
This arch is just one piece of a bigger picture. White House ballroom, reflectin' pool, all that extra stuff while the streets still struggle. They approved the ballroom first. Same panel just keepin' busy wit the fluff, nahmean. This is what happens when the rich run everything and ain't got no connection to the community. They building monuments to they own egos while we out here fightin' for scraps. Ain't nothin' changed. Same game, different players, still hustlin' us all. Don't let 'em fool ya. This ain't for us, it's for them. And that's real.
