Trump's Budget: More Missiles, Less Bread for the People
Dawg's pushin' for a military boost while snatchin' funds from programs helpin' folks survive – word?

Aight, so check it. Trump just dropped his budget for '27, and it's lookin' real suspect. He wants to pump up the military to $1.5 TRILLION – that's a whole lotta zeroes, fam. Meanwhile, he's talkin' 'bout cuttin' domestic spending by 10%. What kinda sense that make?
He basically sayin' missiles and bombs more important than folks eatin' and gettin' healthcare. He tryna shift the responsibility to the states, but them states ain't got the grip to handle that kinda weight. Poorer states gonna get left in the dust, while the rich ones keep chillin'. It's always the same game.
He even had the nerve to say, "We're fightin' wars. We can't take care of day care." So, kids gotta suffer 'cause he tryna play war games? That's messed up, G. He out here spendin' money on weapons while kids strugglin' to get a decent education and healthcare. That ain't right.
And don't even get me started on the national debt, runnin' up to damn near $40 trillion. He out here droppin' these huge tax cuts for the rich, then turn around and act like we can't afford to feed the hungry and house the homeless. The math ain't mathin'.
Two-thirds of the budget already goin' to Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security. That's for the elders and folks who need it most. But with this BS budget, they gonna be lookin' at cuts too. He tryna leave the next generation holdin' the bag. Straight up robbery.
Last year, them GOP tax cuts gave the Pentagon a extra $150 billion and Homeland Security $170 billion for immigration and deportation. Where that money comin' from? From our communities, that's where. They takin' from the poor to give to the war machine and the police state. Same story, different verse.
Congress gotta step up and block this madness. We need to invest in our people, not just weapons. Education, healthcare, jobs – that's what builds a strong nation. Not bombs and bullets. This ain't a game, this is real life. People strugglin' out here. Trump needs to get his priorities straight, or he gonna catch the fade.
The president's budget arrives as the House and Senate remain tangled over current-year spending and stalemated over DHS funding, with Democrats demanding changes to Trump's immigration enforcement regime that Republicans are unwilling to accept. Trump announced Thursday he would sign an executive order to pay all DHS workers who have gone without paychecks during the record-long partial government shutdown that has reached 49 days. The Republican leadership in Congress reached an agreement this week on a path forward to fund the department, but lawmakers are away on spring break and have not yet voted on any new legislation. Last year, in the president's first budget since returning to office also prioritized defense and security spending.
