Aight, so Trump's back, and this time he claimin' he gonna clean up the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool. Says Biden let that sh*t go to the dogs. Cool, I guess? But lemme keep it 100, ain't nobody impressed by just cleanin' up some fancy pool when real problems is starin' us in the face.

Trump hit up Truth Social, talkin' 'bout how he and Secretary Burgum gonna fix the "filthy" pool. He even threw shade at Biden, sayin' he don't know nothin' 'bout cleanin' or maintenance. Man, politicians always playin' the blame game.

Burgum jumped on Twitter (or X, or whatever the hell it's called now) to co-sign Trump's BS, sayin' he's proud to be workin' with him to make D.C. safe and beautiful. Safe and beautiful for who, tho? 'Cause ain't nothin' changed in my neighborhood.

Look, I ain't hatin' on a clean pool. But while they spendin' all this time and money on that, what about the schools? What about the jobs? What about the damn potholes that been swallowin' cars whole for years?

The National Parks Service been doin' this cleanup every year anyway, drainin' the pool and scrubbin' off the goose poop. It's a cycle. But ain't nothin' cyclical 'bout the struggle out here. That's a constant.

They can clean that pool 'til the cows come home, but it ain't gonna change the fact that folks is still gettin' evicted, still strugglin' to put food on the table, still dealin' with police brutality. So, yeah, I'm lookin' at this with a side-eye.
