Trump Administration Playin' With Psychedelics: Is This 'Bout Healing or Nah?
They sayin' they wanna ease restrictions and do research, but what's the real deal for the hood?

Aight, so check it. The Trump administration, yeah, that administration, talkin' 'bout reviewin' psychedelics like ibogaine. They sayin' it's for medical purposes, like fixin' folks with the big sad – depression. But we gotta ask, what's the real for us?
Right now, these drugs is on lockdown, the feds callin' 'em high-risk and illegal. But now they wanna ease up? Sounds kinda sus, fam.
For years, the system been lockin' us up for this kinda stuff. The war on drugs done destroyed families and communities. Now they wanna act like it's all good for white folks to get therapy? Nah, son, we gotta peep the game.
Is this gonna be another situation where rich folks get the good meds while we still get locked up? Will the prices be sky-high, makin' it only accessible to the privileged? Will these therapies be culturally sensitive or just another way to gaslight us?
We seen this before. They take something from our culture, sanitize it, and sell it back to us at a premium. We gotta make sure the hood ain't left behind when it comes to mental health. We gotta get ours.
We already know the system ain't built for us. The stress of bein' Black in America, the police brutality, the poverty, the lack of opportunity – it all takes a toll on our mental health. We need real solutions, not just another way for the man to profit off our pain.
They need to invest in our communities. Fund mental health programs, create safe spaces, and listen to what we need. We need therapists who understand our struggles, not just some book-smart doctors who don't know nothin' 'bout the streets.
So, yeah, maybe these psychedelics can help some folks. But we gotta make sure it's not just another way for the system to keep us down. We gotta demand equity, access, and respect.
This ain't just 'bout gettin' high. It's 'bout healing. It's 'bout takin' care of our minds and bodies. It's 'bout reclaimin' our power and buildin' a better future for ourselves and our kids. Don't get it twisted.
We gotta stay woke and make sure this ain't another scheme to keep us oppressed. Demand accountability, demand access, demand real change. For real.
This aint no joke, fam. They gotta do right by us, period.
