Aight, listen up. Word on the street is that Consumers' Research, some kinda watchdog group, is throwin' shade at the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine (NASEM). They sayin' NASEM, which get a fat 70% of they bread from Uncle Sam (that's us, folks), is usin' our money to push some woke BS. We talkin' DEI, trans issues, and climate change – all that spicy stuff.

Now, I ain't gonna lie, some of this sounds like they just tryin' to stir up drama. But let's keep it 100, ain't nothin' wrong with questionin' where our tax dollars go. We work hard for that paper, and we deserve to know if it's bein' used wisely – or if it’s funding some mess that ain’t helping the community.

Consumers' Research dropped a report, callin' it a "Woke Alert,” claimin' NASEM runnin' workshops with titles like "Advancing Antiracism, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in STEMM Organizations.” Sounds like they pushin’ that corporate diversity agenda. Now, I’m not against diversity, but is this real change or just performative actions?

Then there’s the trans stuff. NASEM had a workshop called “Supporting the Health and Well-Being of Transgender and Gender Diverse Youth.” Look, folks entitled to they life, but should government money really be promoting this to the youth? That's a question that needs to be asked.

And of course, they got they hands in the climate change cookie jar. Always gotta be some kinda fear tactic to distract us. Real talk, while the planet's changin, that ain't the problem for most of us out here. Tryna pay rent on time, ya dig?

Will Hild, the head of Consumers' Research, callin' NASEM “a radical woke organization masquerading as a nonpartisan educational institution.” He claimin' they abusin' they status to push a woke agenda. Harsh words, but this gotta be investigated.

They even partnered with the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative and gave out like $1.15 million for DEI in biomedical research. Sounds like a whole lotta money goin’ to a select few, and who's to say if the black and brown folk see the benefit?

Bottom line: We need to be watchin' these cats. It's our money, and we deserve to know where it's goin'. Is NASEM really pushin' a woke agenda, or is this just a bunch of noise? Either way, it's time to demand some transparency.

This ain't about bein' left or right, woke or sleep. It's about holdin' these institutions accountable for how they spendin' our hard-earned cash. We gotta stay woke to what’s goin’ on, and make sure our voices are heard. No cap.
