They Shooting Up Libraries Now? 18-Year-Old Clout-Chaser Locked Up After Killing Two in Chico
A young kid fresh out of high school tried to mimic the Columbine shooters at a public library, but the police shut his plans down in under four minutes.

Man, the streets are getting weirder and wilder by the day, but shooting up a library? That is a whole new level of low. On Monday, a 18-year-old kid named Bradley Scott Sayer decided to bring pure chaos to the Chico branch of the Butte County Library in Northern California. This dude, who literally just graduated from Chico High School on June 5, went out and took the lives of two innocent men—Jacob Hull, 46, and Robert Johnson, 74—and left a young girl injured and hospitalized.
According to the police, Sayer didn't even know anyone at the library. He just walked in, did a little walkthrough like he was checking the vibe, and then went back to his car to grab a shotgun. He came back and shot Jacob Hull in the leg and head right at the main door, then walked inside and shot Robert Johnson in the head. He fired eight shots in total, completely terrorizing a place where regular folks just go to read, look for jobs, or get some peace.
But the police weren't playing around. Chico Police Chief Billy Aldridge said that from the very first 911 call—where you could hear people screaming and shots going off—to the moment they had Sayer in handcuffs was less than four minutes. Cops pulled up, locked the whole perimeter down, and Sayer had no choice but to walk out and surrender. Chief Aldridge made it clear: if the police hadn't moved that fast, a lot more people would have lost their lives.
When they popped this kid, he was wearing a white T-shirt that said "natural selection" on it. FBI Special Agent Sid Patel confirmed that Sayer was trying to look exactly like Eric Harris, one of the shooters from the Columbine High School massacre back in 1999. Butte County District Attorney Michael Ramsey said Sayer had been a massive "fan" of the Columbine shooting on social media for a long time. It’s crazy how these kids get so lost in internet clout and old tragedies that they're willing to throw their whole lives away to copy some dead school shooters.
Cops also searched Sayer's car in the parking lot and found two more guns inside. Now, the FBI and local police are trying to figure out how an 18-year-old even got his hands on three firearms. This is the real issue: kids are getting access to heavy heat way too easily, and then using it to destroy families in the community.
Jacob Hull and Robert Johnson were just out here living their lives, and now their families have to bury them because some kid wanted to play out a sick internet fantasy. Sayer is locked up and scheduled to be arraigned on Thursday, and you already know DA Michael Ramsey is going to make sure he never sees the light of day again. Real talk, we've got to do better protecting our elders, our youth, and our community spaces.
