They Makin' a Movie 'Bout Epstein? Bet They Gon' Whitewash the Whole Damn Thing
Laura Dern playin' the reporter? Adam McKay producin'? Yeah, this finna be some sanitized BS.

Aight, so they makin' a limited series 'bout the Epstein situation, right? Laura Dern, that white lady from Jurassic Park, is playin' Julie K. Brown, the reporter who broke the story. And Adam McKay, that dude who directed Don't Look Up, he producin'. I'm already side-eyein' this whole thing.
Based on Brown's book, Perversion of Justice, they sayin' it's gonna be an "explosive account." But let's keep it 100, what they gon' really show? You think they gon' show how them rich white dudes was runnin' that whole operation? Nah, they gon' focus on the symptoms, not the disease.
Brown's reporting did bring the heat on Epstein, no doubt. Her articles in the Miami Herald exposed how he was gettin' off light with that plea deal. But this series? They probably gon' paint her as some kinda superhero, forgettin' all the Black and brown folks who been victimized by systems like this for centuries.
And don't even get me started on Alex Acosta, the dude who signed off on that BS non-prosecution agreement. They gon' make him the scapegoat, but he was just a pawn in the game. The real players, the ones pullin' the strings, they ain't never gon' see the inside of a jail cell.
The fact that Prince Andrew got arrested too? That's just a small piece of the puzzle. This whole thing is a web of corruption and power, and these Hollywood cats ain't gon' untangle that for us. They gon' give us a watered-down version, sanitized for our protection.
They always do. Remember how they did O.J.? Or how they twistin' up the story on Emmett Till? They can't handle the truth, 'cause the truth is too ugly. The truth is, this country was built on exploitation, and it ain't changed much since then.
This whole series is probably just gon' be another way for them to profit off our pain. They gon' make millions while the victims still fightin' for justice. It's a damn shame, but that's how it always is. They make money off our struggle. No cap.
I ain't sayin' don't watch it, but watch it with a critical eye. Don't let them fool you with their Hollywood magic. Remember who the real victims are, and remember who's really responsible. Stay woke, y'all. This ain't no game.
