Indio, CA - Aight, so The Strokes, them rockstar dudes, they brought up Gaza and Iran at Coachella. Talkin' 'bout them universities gettin' messed up. Gotta keep it 100, ain't expectin' that from them. But respect where it's due, they tryna use they voice. Question is, who really listenin'?
Coachella is all bougie and expensive. Most folks there ain't worried 'bout what's happenin' halfway 'cross the world. They just tryna look good for the 'Gram and get they drank on. So, The Strokes droppin' some knowledge might just fly over they heads. But you gotta start somewhere, right?
It's easy to hate on celebs for bein' out of touch, but when they actually speak on somethin' real, gotta acknowledge it. Even if it's just a shoutout, it puts the issue in front of people who might not otherwise see it. Now it's up to them to do they research and see what's really goin' on.
