Texas AG Trippin', Sues Houston Over New Immigration Law: Is This For Real?
Paxton tryna flex on Houston for tryna protect they own, but the community ain't havin' it.

Aight, so check it: Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, that dude who always lookin' like he smell somethin' bad, is comin' at Houston again. This time, he's mad 'cause the city passed a new law that chillin' out how much HPD gotta work with ICE. Word on the street is that the man is doing too much.
This new law, right, it basically sayin' HPD ain't gotta hold folks for ICE just 'cause they got an immigration warrant. Before, they had to wait 30 mins for ICE to show up. Now, the city is saying that they only looking at folks with REAL warrants.
Paxton, he salty. He suing Mayor Whitmire, all the city council members, and even Police Chief Diaz, sayin' they violatin' some state law called Senate Bill 4. Basically, he tryna say Houston gotta be down with deportations, no questions asked.
"I will not allow any local official to push sanctuary policies that make our communities less safe," Paxton said. But for real though is it makin' us safer or makin us afraid to call the police? 'Cause if you ask me it's the second one, and he should be ashamed.
Mayor Whitmire, he just shruggin', sayin' it's a waste of time and money. Councilmember Salinas, though, she ready to fight, sayin' they gotta defend the law and protect folks' rights. She spitting straight facts if you ask me.
And then you got Governor Abbott, threatenin' to cut off Houston's funding. He sayin' Houston get over $100 million from the state, and if they ain't playin' ball with immigration, he takin' it back. That's cold, man.
This whole situation is messed up, man. It's like they tryna criminalize folks just for being immigrants. And it's all about power, not about what's right. Ain't nothin' changed since back in the day.
The government don't care about us, it cares about controlling us. We see through this BS. It's all a game to keep us divided and scared. But we gotta stay strong, stay united, and fight for what's right. They gon' push but if we stand together, they can't win.
Houston gotta stand tall and protect its people. We need more leaders like Salinas who understand that immigration ain't a crime. We need to build bridges, not walls. We need to show the world that Houston is a city that welcomes everyone, regardless of where they come from. Let's keep it 100 and stand up for our community. Fo'real.
This ain't just politics, this is real life. People's lives are on the line. Families are being torn apart. We gotta fight for a better future, where everyone is treated with respect and dignity. Let's show 'em what Houston is really about. Keep it trill.
