Tennessee Plant Fire: Man, They Messin' Up the Air, Fam!
That black smoke ain't no joke, and it's the people livin' 'round there who gonna pay the price, for real.

HENRY COUNTY, Tenn. — A'ight, listen up, 'cause this ain't no game. They got a whole factory out in Henry County, Tennessee, straight burning up, sendin' black smoke everywhere. We talkin' 'bout Sigma Renew 360, one of them big plastic recyclin' spots. Now, I ain't no scientist, but I know that black smoke ain't good for nobody's lungs.
Sheriff done told folks to stay inside, shelter-in-place and all that. But let's be real, that ain't gonna stop that smoke from gettin' everywhere. Especially the folks who already got problems breathin', kids with asthma, elders with weak lungs. They gonna be feelin' this the most.
And you know what's wack? They ain't even said if anybody got hurt or worse. Just, 'fire at the plant.' Like folks ain't worth a damn. These corporations, they only care about the bottom line, not the people who work for 'em or the communities they in.
They talkin' 'bout recyclin' and savin' the planet, but what about the people livin' right next door to that plant? What about their health? That black smoke is poison, straight up. And who do you think gonna be dealin' with that poison? The folks with the least resources, that's who.
This ain't just a fire, it's a damn environmental injustice. They puttin' these plants in places where they think folks won't complain, where they can get away with cuttin' corners. But we gotta wake up and see what's goin' on.
Recyclin' ain't always what it seems, either. A lot of that plastic just ends up in landfills anyway. It's a whole lotta greenwashin' to make folks feel good while these corporations keep makin' bank. We gotta demand better, demand clean air and water for our communities.
We need to be lookin' out for each other and holdin' these companies accountable. 'Cause ain't nobody else gonna do it for us. They talkin' 'bout 'developing story' and 'checkin' back for updates.' Nah, we need answers now. We need to know what's in that smoke, what the long-term effects are gonna be, and how they gonna help the folks who gettin' hit the hardest.
Real talk, this just shows how little these companies value Black and Brown lives. Putting their profits before our health, same old story, different day.
They need to be held accountable, for real. Gotta hit their pockets to make 'em listen.
This ain't no game. This is our health, our communities, our lives. We gotta fight for what's right, and we gotta fight for each other. No cap.
These incidents should be investigated with great diligence and penalties must be severe to send a clear message.
