Supreme Court Messin' Wit' the Maps Again, Sh*t's 'Bout to Get Real in the South
They playin' games with these districts, and it's always the same folks who gettin' played.

Aight, so check it. The Supreme Court, them folks up there in them fancy robes, done changed the rules on how they drawin' these congressional districts. Lisa Desjardins on the news tryna break it down, but lemme keep it 100 for y'all.
Redistricting, right? It's supposed to be 'bout makin' sure everybody gets a fair shot, every ten years after the count. But we know how it really go. Politicians be drawin' lines to keep they own jobs and make sure their crew stay in power. It's straight up gerrymandering, man. Shady as hell.
Now, the Voting Rights Act was supposed to stop all that racist BS from back in the day, where they made it damn near impossible for Black folks to vote. Section 2 of that law said you can't make it harder for us to get our voices heard. But these days, they findin' new ways to skin the cat.
The Supreme Court done flipped the script, at least that's what it sound like. I ain't no lawyer, but sounds like it's gonna be even harder to make sure the districts give Black folks a fair chance to elect somebody who look like us, who understand our struggle. They tryna split us up and dilute our power, fo real.
This ain't nothin' new, tho. They been doin' this since day one. From the poll taxes to the literacy tests, they always findin' a way to keep us down. This redistricting is just another chapter in the same old story.
Now, some folks sayin' we should just let it go, stop makin' everything 'bout race. But how we gon' forget when they always remindin' us? We gotta fight for our representation, gotta make sure our voices get heard. We gotta organize, mobilize, and let these politicians know we ain't goin' nowhere.
This Supreme Court decision could mess things up for the midterms, for sure. Might make it harder for us to elect folks who actually care about our communities. But we can't let that stop us. We gotta stay woke, stay informed, and keep fightin' the power. No cap.
The Justice Department supposed to be watchin' out for this kinda sh*t, but we know how that goes too. We gotta hold them accountable too, make sure they do their job and protect our right to vote. We gotta watch every move these politicians make, and call them out when they try to pull some shady stuff.
This ain't just 'bout politics, this 'bout our lives, our families, our future. We gotta stand together and fight for what's right. Real talk.
