SPLC Curriculum in Schools? Nah, They Just Tryna Brainwash Our Kids
Watchdog sayin' the Southern Poverty Law Center's 'Learning for Justice' program sneakin' 'far-left' stuff into classrooms, and ain't nobody checkin' for it.

Aight, listen up y'all. Word on the street is the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), yeah, them folks, got their 'Learning for Justice' program, used to be 'Teaching Tolerance,' all up in our schools. Now, this ain't about teachin' our kids to be good people, it's 'bout pushin' some 'far-left' agenda, according to this watchdog group, Defending Education. They sayin' this stuff in kindergarten, man, kindergarten!
Defending Education, they ain't feelin' this SPLC program at all. They sayin' it's in 169 school districts across 42 states and D.C., teachin' our kids 'bout 'anti-racism, Black Lives Matter, gender ideology and queer theory, white privilege, white supremacy, whiteness, and transgenderism.' Now, some of y'all might be cool with that, but others ain't trynta have their kids learnin' all that before they can even read properly.
This lady, Nicole Neily, the head of Defending Education, sayin' this stuff takin' over from regular history and social studies. She sayin' it's makin' our kids see themselves and others through the lens of identity politics, makin' 'em think America all messed up from the start. That's heavy, man. That's some real weight to put on a kid's shoulders.
Defending Education sayin' this SPLC stuff creatin' division and mistrust 'tween students. They askin' if it's even right to use up classroom time and resources on this kinda thing. I mean, is this what we payin' taxes for? For our kids to be turned against each other?
The SPLC ain't sayin' nothin' back, at least not yet. But this report sayin' their stuff all over the place - on school websites, in teacher training, in classrooms, all tied to Social Emotional Learning and social justice. It's like they trynta rewrite the whole curriculum.
This 'Learning for Justice' program, they callin' it 'education for liberation,' trynta get kids to take action against 'exclusion, prejudice and discrimination.' I ain't against fightin' for what's right, but is this the best way to do it? In school?
New York State Education Department even put some 'equity revisions' in their Social Emotional Learning stuff, makin' it line up with SPLC's social justice standards. The Smithsonian's National Museum of the American Indian even recommendin' this program. It's deep, man. It's like this thing got tentacles everywhere.
Look, I ain't sayin' the SPLC evil or nothin', but we gotta be checkin' what our kids learnin' in these schools. Ain't nobody trynta have their kids brainwashed by nobody, no matter what side they on. We gotta stay woke to this stuff and make sure our kids gettin' the real deal, not just some agenda.
This ain't about bein' 'woke' or bein' 'anti-woke.' This is about our kids, and what they learnin'. We gotta stay informed, go to those school board meetings, and speak up. If we don't, who will?
Keep it 100. No cap.
