South Carolina GOP Trippin', But Clyburn's District Still Good, Fam
Trump tried to mess with Clyburn's district, but South Carolina Republicans backed down, at least for now.

Aight, so check it: South Carolina Republicans was finna redraw the map and mess with Congressman Jim Clyburn's district, but they choked. Word is, Trump was behind that BS, tryna mess with the only Black district the Dems got in that state. But they ain't get away with it… this time.
Clyburn been holdin' it down for 34 years, and he ain't goin' nowhere. He hit up Twitter, sayin' that Trump tryna make folks forget the Constitution, but some Republicans still got sense. He said, "We have someone in the White House that wants Republicans to ignore the Constitutional principles for which this current map was drawn. A critical number of Republicans did not believe in putting a man over the law. Today, members of the South Carolina State Senate stood up for the constitutional principles that they say they believe in."
Now, they say they didn't wanna delay the elections, but that's cap. They just knew messing with Clyburn was gon' bring the heat. Early voting already started, so they couldn't pull no sneaky moves.
Some white dude named Richard Cash, a state senator, said he didn't wanna stop the election. But we know how they do. They always got a reason, but it's usually some BS.
This professor from College of Charleston, Claire Wofford, said Clyburn is a “living legend.” She ain't lyin'. He been puttin' money in the community, and he helped Biden get elected. She also said Trump just tryna show off. South Carolina always been doin' they own thing, so maybe they just ain't wanna listen to him.
Real talk, if they split up Clyburn's district, it coulda messed things up for the GOP too. They mighta ended up with more competitive districts. And with folks movin' around, the Black population shiftin', it's risky business messin' with the map.
So, for now, Clyburn's district is safe. But don't get it twisted, these folks ain't playin'. They always lookin' for ways to keep us down. Gotta stay woke and keep fightin' for what's right.
Stay strapped. They always plotten. Stay alert and keep your head on a swivel, ya dig?
