Savannah Back on TV While Her Mama Still Missin' – Where the Justice At?
Guthrie back on 'Today' after her moms disappeared, but what about all the other folks with missing fam?

Aight, so Savannah Guthrie back on TV, right? 'Today' show and all that. Her mama still missin', though. Like, real talk, that's messed up. But the whole thing got me thinkin' – where the love for everybody else's fam that's gone missin'?
Two months. Sixty-four days. That's how long her moms been gone. And now it's all 'Welcome back, Savannah!' on the news. I ain't hatin', but it's like, what about Latoya's little brother who been gone for a year? Or Ms. Johnson's daughter? They ain't got no TV show to come back to.
She sayin', 'I don't know if I can do it.' Man, folks be goin' through it every single day, and they gotta do it. No choice. She got a whole team, a whole network behind her. What about the single moms hustlin' tryna find they kids?
And they showin' folks holdin' up signs and whatnot. That's cool, but where that energy for the Black and brown kids that go missin' every day? They moms ain't on TV, so nobody cares? That ain't right.
She even got time to shoutout the Arizona Wildcats! Aight, cool, sports and all that, but stay focused, sis. Your mama still out there. Use that platform for real. Not just for shoutouts.
Al Roker sayin' 'Good to see you, my dear.' It's all a show. They gotta keep the ratings up. Meanwhile, real folks strugglin' just to make ends meet, tryna find they people, and ain't nobody helpin' them.
We need to hold these media folks accountable. Stop showin' us the same story over and over when other people goin' through the same thing, if not worse, and gettin' no love.
Where the justice for the folks that ain't got no voice? Where the help for the families that can't afford a private investigator? Where the resources for the communities that are always overlooked?
Guthrie's situation is sad, no doubt. But let's keep it 100. This ain't about her. It's about the system. The system that only cares when it's somebody with money and power. The system that leaves everybody else in the dust.
We need to change that system. We need to make sure everybody gets the same love, the same support, the same justice. Until then, this whole thing just feels like another reminder of how messed up things really are.
So, yeah, welcome back, Savannah. But don't forget about the folks who ain't got your spotlight. Use that platform for real change, not just for feel-good stories. And let's pray that her mother returns home safe.
