These Tech Companies Playin' Games While Our Young Bruhs Get Sextorted, Fam
Groomin' ain't new, but the internet makin' it too easy for these predators to mess with our kids, ya feel me?

Aight, listen up. This sextortion sh*t is gettin' outta hand, man. They sayin' kids in the UK reportin' this online blackmail in record numbers. Real talk, this ain't no game.
Report Remove, this service where kids can flag pics and vids of themselves that done leaked or might leak, said they got 394 reports from under-18s last year 'bout gettin' blackmailed after sendin' pics to predators. That's a 34% jump from 2024. Sh*t's wild.
Sextortion, for them who don't know, is when somebody tricks you into sendin' a nude pic or vid, then they threaten to post it online 'less you pay up or send more. These predators be ruthless.
And check this, they sayin' boys aged 14 to 17 make up 98% of the victims. 98%, my G! Where the adults at? Where the parents at? These boys need guidance.
The Molly Rose Foundation (MRF) sayin' tech companies gotta do more to stop this sh*t. They callin' on Apple and Google to put nudity-detection tech on phones. Might work, but it ain't the whole solution.
The Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) backin' that call too. Hannah Swirsky from IWF sayin' if these companies ain't gonna do it themselves, the government gotta step in. True words.
They talkin' 'bout Murray Dowey, this 16-year-old who took his own life after gettin' sextorted. His parents suein' Meta, sayin' they ain't do enough to protect him. This is deep, fam. Real talk.
Murray's moms, Ros, callin' this data “horrifying and disappointing.” His pops, Mark, sayin' these companies claim they puttin' in safety measures, but if they worked, the numbers would be goin' down, not up. He ain't lyin'.
The Tech Coalition share tips about child safety, and Report Remove makin' digital fingerprints of these images. That's cool, but it's like puttin' a band-aid on a gunshot wound. Gotta get to the root of the problem.
We gotta talk to our kids, man. Teach 'em 'bout these predators and how they operate. Tell 'em not to trust nobody online. And these tech companies gotta step up and do they part, for real. Stop playin' games with our kids' lives.
This ain't just a UK problem, this is everywhere. Gotta protect our youngins, man. Stay woke.
