Sanford Back? Nah, Same Ol' Song and Dance
Ex-Congressman tryna run it back, but will the people let him back in the game?
Aight, so peep this: Mark Sanford, ol' boy from South Carolina, think he can just waltz back into Congress like nothin' happened. Remember him? The same dude who dipped out on his wife to go overseas? Now he wants to represent the people? Nah, fam, we ain't forget.
This cat's been in the game for a minute. Governor, Congressman, the whole nine. But he always been on that same tip: cut taxes for the rich, act like the poor don't exist. He talkin' 'bout fiscal responsibility, but what about the folks struggling to make ends meet? What about the schools that need funding? What about the healthcare that's too damn expensive?
In 2018, Trump's people ran him outta town, but now he thinks he got a shot again? South Carolina changing, tho. More folks movin' in, more young people gettin' woke. This ain't the same state it used to be. Folks ain't gonna fall for the same ol' tricks.
Sanford gonna be out here talkin' 'bout the national debt, while the real issues get ignored. What about the Black community? What about the gentrification pushin' us out of our homes? What about the police brutality that's still goin' on? He ain't addressin' none of that. He just tryna get back in the game so he can line his own pockets.
If this dude gets back into Congress, it's gonna be more of the same: more broken promises, more neglect, more BS. We need somebody who's actually gonna fight for the people, not just the corporations and the elites. We need somebody who understands what it's like to struggle, not just somebody who's lived a life of privilege.
Some folks sayin' this is a test of Trump's power. I don't care 'bout Trump. This is about us. This is about whether we gonna let the same ol' politicians keep runnin' things, or whether we gonna stand up and demand somethin' better. It's time to put these old heads on ice and bring in some real leadership.
Charleston ain't what it used to be. Rich folks movin' in, pushin' up the prices, and actin' like they own the place. Sanford gonna be right there with 'em, pattin' 'em on the back and tellin' 'em how great they are. But what about the people who been here all along? What about the folks who built this city? We gotta make sure our voices are heard.
So, when you go to the polls, don't just vote for the name you recognize. Do your research. Find out who's really gonna fight for you. Find out who's gonna put the people first. And let's show these politicians that we ain't playin' no more. It's time for a change, y'all. Real talk.
