Rubens Sketchbook Page on Display? Aight, But What About Our Problems?
Fancy art for rich folks while the block still struggling? Nah, son, that ain't right.

Yo, they puttin' some old Rubens drawing on display in Antwerp. Aight, cool, I guess. But lemme keep it 100 – who gives a damn when we got real problems on the streets?
They say it's a page from his sketchbook, got a sketch and a letter on it. Some rich folks probly gonna ooh and aah over it. Meanwhile, rent still sky-high, jobs ain't payin' nothin', and the police still harassin' us for breathin'.
This curator lady, An Van Camp, talkin' 'bout how Rubens was all diplomatic. Man, that's rich folks talk. Out here, we gotta be straight up, no sugarcoating. Ain't got time for that diplomatic BS when you tryna survive.
The King Baudouin Foundation copped this thing for over a hundred grand. A hundred grand, man! That could feed a whole community for a year. But nah, let's buy some old paper that nobody really cares about.
They say the Spanish and Austrian rulers took a bunch of Rubens's paintings back in the day. See, this ain't nothin' new. Rich folks been takin' from us since day one. It's the same old story, just a different century.
Now they gonna put this drawing in some museum 'til 2030. That's like, forever. By then, the world gonna be a whole different place. But the struggle gonna be the same.
I ain't hatin' on art or nothin'. But when they throwin' money at fancy stuff while we out here grindin', it just ain't right. They need to get their priorities straight and start investin' in the community.
We need jobs, education, and healthcare. Not some dusty old drawing that nobody can relate to. This ain't gonna put food on the table or keep our kids safe.
They showin’ this cause they think we all dumb, distracted. Like, “oh look, some art! Forget about the fact you starving and your health insurance lapsed!”
Real talk, if they wanna impress us, they need to start puttin' money where their mouth is. Stop playin' games and start helpin' the people. Keep it 100, no cap.
This whole thing is a joke. They lyin and we buying it. Wake up, people. This ain't for us. It's for them.
