Puerto Rico Trippin': Gov Declares State of Emergency 'Bout the Beach?
They swear the coastline disappearin', but what about the real problems we face every day, ya dig?

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico — Aight, so check it: The governor done went and declared a state of emergency 'cause the beach gettin' ate up by the ocean. Real talk? That's what they focusin' on? Ain't no jobs, the power grid still shaky, and folks strugglin' to make ends meet, but nah, the sand movin' is the big crisis. Word?
They sayin' it's 'coastal erosion,' like we supposed to be shocked or somethin'. Ocean been doin' this since day one, man. It's called nature. But now, all of a sudden, it's an 'emergency' 'cause it affectin' them fancy hotels and beachfront cribs. Bet if it was just the hood gettin' washed away, they wouldn't give a damn.
And you KNOW who they gonna blame: Climate change. Always gotta be somethin' outside they control. Ain't got nothin' to do with the fact that they been buildin' all kinda crazy stuff right on the water, blockin' the natural flow. Nah, it's the global warmin', fam. Keep it movin'.
This whole thing smell like a money grab to me. They gonna get some big contracts to 'fix' the beach, and you know who gonna get paid? Not us. It's always the same old story: rich folks gettin' richer, while the rest of us scrapin' by. They gon' build some fancy seawalls, but won't put up a damn thing to stop the rent from goin' up or the lights from goin' out.
Man, I'm tellin' you, they ain't lookin' out for us. They worried about them tourist dollars and them fancy properties. We just gotta look out for each other, ya know? Build our own community, support each other, and stop waitin' for these politicians to save us. They ain't comin'.
So, yeah, the beach might be disappearin'. But so is our hope if we keep trustin' these clowns. Time to wake up and realize we gotta be our own heroes. We gotta build our own tables, so we have something to eat.
Real talk, the sand ain't the real emergency. The emergency is the system, the game is rigged. We need to turn this s* around.
