Pork Industry Playin' Dirty: Tryna Block State Laws on Pig Treatment
Them big pork companies tryna sneak some BS into the farm bill to keep mistreatin' animals, and ain't nobody checkin' 'em.

Aight, so check it. These pork companies, they always lookin' for a way to cut corners and make more bread, right? Now they tryna pull some sneaky stuff with this 'Save Our Bacon' thing in the farm bill. Basically, they don't want states like California and Massachusetts tellin' 'em how to treat them pigs.
See, them states passed laws sayin' they can't sell pork from pigs locked up in them tiny cages – what they call 'gestation crates'. These cages are straight-up cruel, man. Pigs can't even turn around in 'em. But the pork industry, they don't care 'bout none of that. All they see is dollar signs.
The National Pork Producers Council (NPPC), they frontin' like it's 'bout protectin' farmers. Nah, it's 'bout protectin' them profits. They say it's unfair that California can tell Iowa how to raise their pigs. But what's unfair is them pigs livin' in them cages, right?
They already tried to fight the state laws in court and got shut down. Now they tryna get Congress to do their dirty work. This 'Save Our Bacon' thing would basically make them state laws useless. They want to run the whole game, no matter how foul it is.
This ain't just about pigs, tho. It's about how these big companies always try to get away with anything. They pollute the air, treat workers like trash, and now they tryna torture animals. And they think nobody's gonna say nothin'. But we seein' it.
The government is supposed to look out for the little guy, but they always bendin' over backwards for these corporations. Ain't nothin' changed. It's the same old story: money talks, and the rest of us gotta eat dirt. The lack of transparency and accountability is always the problem. These pork companies operate with impunity, knowing that they can get away with almost anything because they have the money and the political connections to do so.
We need to hold these cats accountable, man. Hit 'em where it hurts: their pockets. Start buyin' pork from farmers who treat their animals right. Spread the word, let folks know what's goin' on. We gotta show 'em that we ain't gonna let them get away with this. They can't just disrespect the animals and the people who actually tryna do right. This is the kinda BS that make a community lose trust. We gotta keep it 100 out here and this ain't it.
Real talk, this whole thing is messed up. But we gotta stay woke and keep fightin'. Ain't nothin' gonna change if we don't stand up for what's right. They think they can do whatever they want, but we gotta show them that ain't the way it is. 'Cause at the end of the day, we all gotta eat, and we deserve to know that our food ain't comin' from no torture chamber. It's a simple thing, but it means the world to the animals and to the culture.
