Ohio Politician Tryna Force That Church Stuff on Our Kids, For Real?
This 'American Heritage Act' is lookin' like a whole lotta cap, tryin' to rewrite history and keep the real struggle outta the classroom.

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Aight, so check it. This Ohio state rep, Gary Click – he a pastor too, word? – is pushin' this thing called the Charlie Kirk American Heritage Act. Sounds suspect already, right? Basically, he wants schools to teach all about the 'positive' stuff 'Judeo-Christian' values did for America. Like, come on, bruh.
He talkin' 'bout how the Declaration of Independence mentions God and how Billy Graham was out here doin' good. Okay, cool, but what 'bout the slavery? What 'bout the Jim Crow? What 'bout all the times the church was holdin' hands with the oppressor? That ain't gettin' taught, is it?
This bill already passed the House and now it's in the Senate. He sayin' folks hated on Charlie Kirk 'cause he was pushin' Christian principles. Maybe, but maybe folks hated on him 'cause he was spewin' hate. Real talk.
And Sarah Kaka from the Ohio Council for Social Studies? She ain't feelin' this at all. She sayin' she ain't heard of no teachers scared to teach what's in the bill already. This just feels like they tryna control what our kids learn and keep the truth outta the schools.
Look, I ain't hatin' on faith. But this ain't about faith. This is about power. It's about makin' sure the dominant narrative stays dominant. It's about keepin' Black folks, Latinos, LGBTQ+ folks, and everyone else who ain't fit that mold outta the history books.
This dude Click is behind that ban on gender-affirmation stuff for kids too. And he wants kids to be able to leave school for religious study. He tryna build a whole theocracy up in here. No cap.
They always sayin' 'bout preservin' tradition and family values'. But what about the families that don't rock with that? What about the traditions they tryna erase? This whole situation is sus.
We gotta stay woke, y'all. They ain't playin'. They tryna rewrite history and control the future. We gotta make sure our kids get the real story, the whole story, not just the one they want us to hear. Keep it 100.
This ain't for us, it’s for them. Plain and simple.
