NHS Trippin': Still Ain't Got 24/7 Stroke Care Everywhere, Fam
Government playin' games with folks' lives, still ain't equal access to stroke treatment in every hood.

Yo, listen up. The government been lyin' again, swear to God. They said every hospital was gonna have that 24/7 stroke treatment, the one where they pull the clot out ya brain? Mechanical thrombectomy, that jawn? Straight cap. Still ain't happenin' everywhere, especially not in certain hoods. Some hospitals ain't got the staff or the bread to keep that service runnin' all day, every day.
Now, you know how many folks be havin' strokes? Too damn many. Over 100,000 in the UK every year, and almost 40,000 ain't makin' it. And if you lucky enough to survive, you might be stuck with some serious disabilities. This ain't no joke, man. This is real life for real people.
Dr. Nayak from Royal Stoke hospital hit the nail on the head. He said it's a postcode lottery. Meaning, if you live in the right area and have the stroke at the right time, you might get that life-saving treatment. But if you live in the wrong zip code, or if it's late at night or on the weekend? You outta luck, fam. Straight up.
They claimin' they gave money to these hospitals so they can run that 24/7 service, but it still ain't happenin'. Where that money goin', tho? Seems like it's disappearing into thin air, just like always. Politicians be lyin' through they teeth, man. Can't trust nothin' they say.
The Stroke Association's Alexis Kolodziej talkin' 'bout how it's messed up that you gotta depend on the time of day and where you live to get this treatment. No duh! She welcome the investment they made. It’s aight, but the implementation is lacking. They need to get it together frfr.
They spendin' over £100 million a year on this treatment, but it's still not available everywhere? Somethin' ain't addin' up. Need to hold these hospitals and politicians accountable. They playin' with people's lives, man. This ain't a game.
This thrombectomy procedure is supposed to be quick and save ya from a whole lotta problems after that stroke. But if you can't get it when you need it, then what's the point? It's like promisin' a man a life raft when he drownin', but then throwin' it too far away for him to reach it. It's messed up.
We need to demand better from these folks in power. They supposed to be lookin' out for us, not playin' games with our health. We need equal access to healthcare in every hood, period. No more postcode lotteries, no more empty promises. It's time for some real change, ya heard?
