NASA to the Moon, But the Streets Still Hot: Real Priorities, Fam
Folks worried 'bout rent and survival, not space trips for the rich.
Aight, so check it. NASA wanna blast off to the moon again, right? Talkin' 'bout Artemis this, Artemis that. But out here in the real world, folks ain't checkin' for no moon rocks. We got bills to pay, kids to feed, and police harassin' us on the daily. Straight up.
They sayin' it's 'scientific progress' and 'technological advancement.' But who benefitin' from all that, huh? Not the brothas and sistas on the block, that's for sure. The same folks who ain't never seen a damn NASA scientist that look like them. It's always the same narrative.
I'm hearin' folks sayin' NASA should be focusin' on climate change. That's real. The planet cookin', and they wanna play astronaut? The heat waves be killin' our elders, the floods be washin' away our homes, and they worried 'bout puttin' boots on the moon? Nah, son. That ain't right. And the asteroids? If one of them rocks come around, it's gon' take us ALL out. No space suit gon' save ya.
And let's be real, this ain't 'bout explorin'. This 'bout power. Rich folks wanna colonize the moon, just like they colonized everything else. They gonna claim that land, extract them resources, and leave us with nothin'. Same game, different galaxy.
Remember Apollo? They promised us the future, but all we got was gentrification and mass incarceration. This space game is just another distraction from the real problems we facin' right here on Earth. No cap.
NASA ain't fixin' food deserts, nah. They ain't payin' for no better schools, nah. And they damn sure ain't endin' police brutality. So why should we give a damn 'bout they moon mission?
The streets talkin', and they ain't sayin' nothin' good 'bout this. Folks feelin' left behind, ignored, and straight up disrespected. NASA needs to get they priorities straight and start investin' in the communities that need it the most.
Until then, this moonshot just another example of the rich gettin' richer while the rest of us struggle to survive. It ain't nothin' but a money grab for the elite, disguised as 'progress.' Don't fall for the okey-doke.
Word is bond, NASA needs to listen to the people. Or they gon' find theyselves blastin' off into space with nobody cheerin' them on. Cause we ain't got time for no moon games when we fightin' for survival right here on Earth. Keep it 100, fam.
This ain't hate, it's just real talk. Put some respect on the ground where it's needed.
