Military Archbishop Say Iran War Ain't Righteous, But Who Really Surprised?
Archbishop Broglio callin' out the Iran war, sayin' it ain't 'just,' but ain't nobody on the block trustin' these wars anyway.

Aight, so peep this. This Archbishop Broglio, the head dude for all the Catholic chaplains in the military, done came out and said the war with Iran ain't meetin' the 'just war' standard. Said it's like tryna fix somethin' before it even broke. Straight up, that's how a lot of folks been feelin' 'bout this whole situation.
This 'just war' theory, right, it's supposed to be the guideline for when war is cool and how it should be fought. But look at it from the streets: Does any war really look 'just'? Nah, it's always innocent folks gettin' caught in the crossfire, while the big shots stay fat and happy.
Broglio told CBS, 'The Lord Jesus brought a message of peace, and war should be the last resort.' Preach, homie! But the government don't be listenin' to the gospel, they be listenin' to them corporations and the war machine. They ain't trippin' off no peace.
Now, Trump and his crew been hollerin' 'bout Iran bein' a threat with nukes and sponsorin' terrorists. But from the block, it look like they just tryna flex on somebody and keep that oil flowin'. Meanwhile, they ain't worried 'bout the folks back home, struggle is real in the hood.
Polls show Trump's numbers droppin' cause this war ain't got nobody's support outside the die-hard MAGA crowd. Regular folks ain't seein' no benefit, just more money goin' overseas while we still dealin' with poverty and broken schools.
Then you got Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth askin' folks to pray for a military victory 'in the name of Jesus Christ.' Broglio clapped back, sayin' that's 'problematic' 'cause Jesus preached peace. Real talk, using Jesus' name to justify war is some twisted mess. They always use religion to manipulate the people.
Broglio said he alignin' himself with Pope Leo XIV, who been tellin' Trump to chill and find a way out this war. Pope sayin' the Christian mission gettin' messed up by folks tryna dominate others. See, even the Pope know what's up.
Broglio tellin' Catholic soldiers to do as little harm as possible and protect innocent lives. He know they caught between a rock and a hard place. They gotta follow orders, but they also gotta keep their conscience clean. It's a heavy burden to carry.
Bottom line: This war ain't right, and the Archbishop speakin' out is a good look. But ain't nothin' gonna change 'til the people rise up and demand peace and justice for everybody, not just the privileged few. We need that economic equity.
