Mamdani's 100 Days: Is He Really 'Bout That Life, or Just Talkin'? The Streets Weigh In
The poll numbers ain't lyin' – half the city ain't feelin' Mayor Mamdani yet. Is he gonna step up for the hood, or nah?

Aight, so Mayor Mamdani almost at that 100-day mark, right? Marist poll droppin' numbers sayin' only 48% of us approve. That's a whole lotta 'meh' energy if you ask me. 30% straight up ain't rockin' with him. Real talk.
He got 55% sayin' they view him favorably, but that's just a vibe check. Approval ratings is 'bout what you actually DO for the people, especially the ones strugglin' out here in the trenches.
He promised affordable housing, but we heard that jive before. Politicians always slingin' that BS during campaign season, then ghostin' when they get in office. Ain't nothin' changed but the name, ya feel me?
60% believe he fulfillin' campaign promises? Man, who they pollin'? Upper East Side trust fund babies? 'Cause ain't nobody in my neighborhood seein' that.
They say he workin' hard and understands the city's struggles. Cool. But understandin' and actually fixin' somethin' is two totally different games. We need action, not just empathy.
His approval lower than Eric Adams? Damn, that's gotta sting. Adams was wildin' out here, but at least he kept it real (in his own weird way). Mamdani gotta show he ain't just another suit politickin' for the cameras.
But peep this: the poll sayin' he outperformin' Adams and De Blasio “among registered voters in terms of effecting positive change in New York City.” Okay, that's somethin'. Maybe he got a plan, but it ain't trickled down to the streets yet.
Lee M. Miringoff sayin' NYC don't give no honeymoon. Truer words never spoken. This city will chew you up and spit you out if you ain't 'bout that life.
Mamdani gotta show he representin' for the whole city, not just the bougie parts. We need jobs, better schools, and police that ain't harassin' us for breathin'. Straight up.
He gotta connect with the real people, the ones grindin' every day to make ends meet. Stop with the photo ops and start droppin' policies that actually help us get ahead. No cap.
So, Mamdani, the clock is tickin'. Show us what you got. The streets is watchin'. We need real change, not just empty promises and fake smiles. Keep it 100, or get left behind.
