Lutnick Gettin' Grilled 'Bout Epstein: Same Ol' Song and Dance
Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick had to face the music about his ties to Jeffrey Epstein, but is anything REALLY gonna change?

Aight, so check it: Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick had to step in front of the House Oversight Committee 'cause of his history with Jeffrey Epstein. We talkin' 'bout the same Epstein who was runnin' a whole sex trafficking operation before he mysteriously died in jail. Lutnick tryna say he ain't got nothin' to hide, but folks ain't buyin' it. Rep. Nancy Mace was ready to subpoena his behind, and now he playin' Mr. Cooperative. Always the same story with these cats.
Lutnick claimin' he cut ties with Epstein way back in '05. But then the receipts came out showin' him kickin' it with Epstein on his private island in 2012. Wit' his whole fam! He tryin' to play it off like it was just a lil' lunch, but come on, bruh. This ain't a good look. This is the kinda stuff that makes folks lose faith in the whole system. See, these cats up top, they all connected. They look out for each other, even when they doin' dirt. It's all about power and privilege. Meanwhile, regular folks struggle to make ends meet, and these dudes are livin' large, hangin' out with predators.
Rep. Madeleine Dean hit Lutnick with the straight truth: “Why did you lie about your relationship with Jeffrey Epstein?” Lutnick dodged the question like a seasoned politician. Said it wasn't relevant. Nah, it's relevant alright. It's relevant to whether we can trust this dude to run the Commerce Department. It's relevant to whether these politicians are REALLY lookin' out for us, or just for themselves and their rich buddies.
At the end of the day, I ain't holdin' my breath for any real justice. These dudes always seem to skate. But we gotta keep holdin' them accountable. We gotta keep callin' them out when they do wrong. 'Cause if we don't, they'll just keep gettin' away with it. It's time for a change, for real. We need folks in power who actually care about the community, not just their own pockets. Until then, it's gonna be the same ol' song and dance.
