Louisiana Republicans Playin' Dirty: Majority-Black District Gone, Just Like That
They done redrew the map, and now the brothas and sistas in Baton Rouge gettin' played, straight up.

BATON ROUGE, La. — Man, these Louisiana Republicans ain't playin' fair. They just passed a new map that gets rid of the majority-Black district, and you know what that means? Less voice for the community, plain and simple. They sayin' it's about fairness and all that, but we know the real deal. It's 'bout power, and they ain't tryna share.
That district, wit' Cleo Fields representin', was supposed to be a spot where Black folks could actually have a say in who represents 'em. But nah, they gotta mess wit' it. Now, the map lookin' like a whole jigsaw puzzle designed to split up the Black vote and make sure Republicans stay in charge.
They gon' say it's 'cause of that Supreme Court ruling, claimin' they just followin' the rules. But come on, y'all know how it is. They use any excuse to keep us down. That ruling was just the green light they needed to do what they been wantin' to do all along.
The ACLU talkin' 'bout how they consolidatin' white political power, and they ain't lyin'. This ain't just 'bout a map, it's 'bout who gets to make the decisions, who gets heard, and who gets left out in the cold. They crackin' Black communities apart, drownin' our votes in areas where we ain't got a chance.
And let's not forget that lawsuit from them white folks who mad that Black people even get a chance to have a district of our own. They went all the way to the Supreme Court and got their way. Now, here we are, back at square one, fightin' the same old battles.
Governor Landry? He gon' sign that bill faster than you can say 'systemic racism.' He ain't on our side, and we gotta recognize that. He's part of the problem, not the solution.
This ain't just a Louisiana thing either. Tennessee and Alabama doin' the same thing, tryin' to stack the deck in their favor. They all workin' together to make sure the South stay the same, where Black folks gotta fight twice as hard just to get a seat at the table.
So, what we gon' do 'bout it? We gotta stay woke, stay organized, and keep fightin'. Can't let 'em silence us. We gotta show up at the polls, make our voices heard, and let 'em know we ain't goin' nowhere. This ain't the end, it's just the beginning. We gotta build our own table, so they can't keep kickin' us off theirs.
Remember, they can redraw the lines, but they can't redraw our spirit. We gotta keep the faith and keep pushin' for what's right. Ain't no cap in my rap, this is real life. Gotta stay vigilant and keep holdin' these folks accountable. Keep it 100, y'all.
We out here, hustlin' and survivin', but we ain't forgettin' 'bout our rights. We gotta stay informed, stay connected, and keep each other lifted. This ain't a game, this is our lives. Let's get it, y'all.
