Lord Howe Island Done Got Rat Problems, Now Roach Problems: Same Struggle, Different Day
They kicked out the rodents, now bugs takin' over? Man, seems like systems stay playin' us, no matter what.

Aight, so peep this: Lord Howe Island, out in Australia, had a whole lotta rats and mice messin' up they crib. Folks got tired of it, so they went all out, spent bread to get rid of 'em, right? Said it was for the 'environment' and all that.
Now, fast forward, and what we got? Bugs EVERYWHERE. Beetles, roaches, the whole crew. Numbers went up 60%, according to some college heads. Seems like when you clear out one thing, somethin' else just gonna slide in and fill the gap. Ain't that the way it always goes?
This island, they say it's a World Heritage site. Fancy talk for a spot that used to be chill before humans messed it up. Rats came in on ships, just like they do in our neighborhoods, causin' problems for the folks already livin' there. Sounds familiar, right?
They talkin' 'bout 'saving the ecosystem,' but who's really benefitin'? Is it the folks on the ground, or is it just another way for the government and scientists to play games? They always got some kinda agenda, gotta stay woke.
Before they started blastin' the rats, they counted all the bugs. Like that's gonna change nothin'. They always countin' us, surveyin' us, but do they ever really help us out? Nah, they just collectin' data.
One of the scientists, dude named Adams, said the island feel like 'Jurassic Park.' He probably never been to the real hood, where it's survival of the fittest every day. Dinosaurs ain't got nothin' on real-life struggles.
See, what folks gotta understand is, nature gonna do what nature do. You can't just wipe out one thing and expect everything to be Gucci. There's always gonna be somethin' tryin' to take over, just like in the streets.
So, they got rid of the rats, now they got roaches. Sounds like they just traded one problem for another. Reminds me of when they tear down the projects, promise better housing, and then just build condos nobody can afford. Same struggle, different location.
The real question is, who's gonna clean up the roaches when they become a problem? They gonna bring in more chemicals, more traps? It's a never-ending cycle, man. They never learn.
What they need to do is focus on community. Teach folks how to live with nature, not try to control it. But they ain't gonna do that, 'cause that ain't profitable. Gotta keep the money flowin' to the scientists and the government.
