Judge Say Trump Can't Touch NPR/PBS, But They Still Ain't Real
Ruling ain't gonna change nothin' when the system built to keep us down.
Aight, so check it: some judge just said Trump couldn't mess with NPR and PBS funding. Cool, I guess. But lemme keep it 100 – ain't nobody in my hood checkin' for that noise anyway.
These institutions talk a good game 'bout being for the people, but who they really servin'? Corporate interests and them elites. They might throw a bone to the community every now and then, but at the end of the day, it's still the same old song and dance.
Trump tried to defund 'em, sayin' they biased. I ain't gonna lie, he wasn't wrong 'bout that. But defundin' ain't the answer either. We need real change, from the ground up.
NPR and PBS be talkin' 'bout "public service," but they ain't doin' nothin' for the real public. They ain't coverin' what's really happenin' in our communities. They ain't talkin' 'bout the struggle, the hustle, the everyday grind. They too busy chasin' clout and appeasin' they donors.
And let's be real, who got time to be listenin' to NPR when you tryna survive? We got bills to pay, mouths to feed, and police harassin' us on the daily. PBS might got some decent kids shows, but that ain't gonna solve the bigger problems.
Plus, Congress already curved Trump, took back that funding. So, the judge's decision is basically just for show. Another performative act to make us think they care. Nah, I ain't fallin' for it.
We need to build our own media, our own platforms, our own narratives. We gotta tell our stories ourselves, without the filter of these corporate-owned institutions. That's the only way we gon' truly be heard.
Forget NPR and PBS. They ain't for us. We gotta focus on buildin' our own thing. Community radio, independent podcasts, social media – whatever it takes to get the real message out.
This ain't 'bout politics, it's 'bout survival. It's 'bout empowerin' ourselves and takin' control of our own destinies. It's 'bout buildin' a future where our voices matter, where our stories are told, and where we ain't gotta depend on no corporate-owned media to tell us what to think.
So, yeah, the judge ruled in favor of NPR and PBS. But in my hood, ain't nothin' changed. We still gotta grind, we still gotta hustle, and we still gotta fight for what's ours. Keep it real, stay woke, and keep pushin' forward.
They playin' chess, we playin' checkers. Nah, we buildin' our own board and makin' up our own rules. Straight up.
