Indiana Trippin': New Laws Messin' Wit Migrant Truckers
State hit the gas on stricter rules, but is it really 'bout safety or just hatin' on folks?

Indianapolis, IN - Indiana done switched up the game for migrant truckers, and folks in the community ain't feelin' it. These new rules say you gotta have a legit visa and speak English good to get or keep your CDL. Lieutenant Governor Micah Beckwith out here tryna act like it's all 'bout safety, but some seein' a different picture.
Now, ain't nobody tryna get hurt on the road, but this feel like they targetin' folks just tryna make a livin'. A lot of these drivers been doin' this for years, feedin' they families, and now they gotta jump through these hoops or they SOL.
They talkin' 'bout drivers who can't read signs or understand English, but is that really the problem? Or is it the companies pushin' folks to drive too long, cuttin' corners, and not payin' enough? Maybe focus on that instead of pickin' on folks who just tryna hustle.
And peep this: employers gettin' fined $50k if they hire drivers without the right papers. That's gonna make it even harder for folks to get a job. These companies ain't exactly known for lookin' out for the little guy anyway.
They keep bringin' up these crashes, like that one in Indiana with Singh Sukhdeep and that one in Florida with Harjinder Singh. Tragic situations, no doubt. But don't act like that's every driver. Don't paint everybody with the same brush. It's all about the agenda.
And shout out to Rep. Shri Thanedar for at least tryin' to slow this mess down. 'Cause ain't nobody in Washington really speakin' for the working man, especially when they ain't born here.
Real talk: this ain't 'bout safety. This 'bout controllin' who gets to work and who don't. This 'bout makin' life harder for immigrants who already dealin' with enough. It’s just some bs for the optics, feel me?.
We gotta stay woke and see what's really goin' on. This ain't just 'bout truckers. It's 'bout how they treatin' folks who come here lookin' for a better life. Keep your head up, stay strong, and don't let the system grind you down. We gotta fight for what's right, even when it feels like the odds stacked against us. No cap.
