ICE Tryna Set Up Shop in Social Circle? Nah, We Ain't Havin' It
Folks in Social Circle, Georgia, from both sides of the aisle, saying HELL NAH to DHS tryna turn a warehouse into another damn detention center.

Aight, so check it. Word on the street is that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) tryna pull a fast one and build another ICE detention center in Social Circle, Georgia. They wanna take some empty warehouse and turn it into a holding cell for folks just tryna live their lives. But the people ain't sleepin'.
From the Republicans to the Democrats, everybody in Social Circle is side-eyeing this whole situation. They see right through the BS. They know this ain't about security, it's about profit and oppression. They done seen how ICE operates, snatching up families, lockin' folks up for minor infractions, and deporting people who been here longer than some of these politicians been alive.
DHS ain't even droppin' the deets on the plan. How big is this joint gonna be? How many people they gonna cram in there? What kinda services they gonna provide? Nah, they keepin' it hush-hush, hoping folks will just roll over and take it. But that ain't how we do things in Social Circle.
They sayin' it's gonna bring jobs and boost the economy, but we know that's cap. Those jobs gonna be low-wage, dead-end gigs. And the money ain't gonna stay in the community, it's gonna line the pockets of some rich corporations. We ain't fallin' for that trick.
And let's be real, these detention centers ain't exactly known for treatin' folks right. We talkin' about overcrowding, abuse, and denial of basic rights. They treatin' people like animals, and that ain't right. We gotta stand up for our brothers and sisters, regardless of where they from.
This ain't just a Social Circle issue, this a national issue. ICE been terrorizing communities for too long, and we gotta put a stop to it. We gotta demand justice, demand respect, and demand an end to this racist system.
So to all my folks in Social Circle, keep your heads up and stay woke. Don't let DHS pull the wool over your eyes. Organize, protest, and make your voices heard. Let 'em know that we ain't gonna stand for this BS. We gonna fight for our community, fight for our rights, and fight for a better future.
The real question is, why they always targetin' communities like ours? Why they always buildin' these prisons and detention centers in Black and Brown neighborhoods? It's all part of the plan, y'all. They tryna keep us down, tryna control us, but we ain't gonna let 'em. We too strong, too resilient, and too determined to succeed.
The residents are rightfully concerned about the ramifications of putting an ICE detention center in their backyard, and they’re not willing to let DHS walk all over them. They’re tired of seeing their communities targeted and exploited, and they’re ready to fight back.
This aint over, this is just the start. Gotta stay vigilant, stay organized, and stay true to the struggle. We got power, y'all, and we gotta use it. For our community, for our future, and for all those who been oppressed by this unjust system.
