Germany's Legal Weed: Is It Really Helping the People, Or Just Another Way for the Man to Get Paid?
Two years in, and folks on the ground still ain't seeing no real change – just more cops and more ways for the system to stay in power.

Aight, listen up. Germany done legalized weed two years back, right? Supposedly, it was gonna help the people, stop the black market, and all that jazz. But let's keep it a buck, is it really making a difference for the everyday man and woman? Or is it just another way for the system to get paid and keep us down?
From what I'm hearing, it's a mixed bag, fam. The suits in the government, the SPD and CDU cats, they arguin' 'bout the numbers. One side sayin' it's workin', the other side sayin' it's a flop. But ain't none of 'em really talkin' 'bout what's happenin' on the streets.
They say the black market is shrinkin', but that's cap. Maybe the big dealers losin' some paper, but the corner boys still slangin', and they ain't takin' no government checks. And don't even get me started on these online shops sellin' weed to kids. That's straight up messed up.
And what about the people who got locked up for weed before it was legal? Are they free? Nah. The system still holdin' them down, even though they did nothin' wrong by today's rules. It's like, they change the game, but they don't change the score for the folks who already played.
The cops still harassin' folks, especially young Black and brown kids. They say they ain't targetin' nobody, but we know the truth. It's always the same story, different day. Legal weed or not, the system stays the system.
So, is Germany's legal weed a success? Nah, not really. It's a start, maybe. But it ain't fixin' nothin' 'til they free the folks who got locked up, stop targetin' our communities, and make sure the benefits go to the people, not just the corporations and the government.
We need real change, not just a different way for the Man to get paid. Keep it real, y'all.
