Gas Prices High, Prez Low: Is Biden Feeling the Pain at the Pump?
They say gas prices affect who in office, but for real, ain't nobody got money for this mess, period.
Aight, look, they been saying since back in the day that when gas prices spike, the prez get the blame. Carter, Bush, Obama -- same story. But lemme tell you somethin', this ain't just 'bout politics, this is 'bout real life.
For folks in the hood, a dollar more for gas ain't just a headline, it's the difference between eating good and eating ramen. It's the difference between making rent and getting evicted. It's the difference between survivin' and straight up starvin'.
They talk 'bout approval ratings and correlations, but what 'bout the single moms working two jobs just to keep a roof over they kids' heads? What 'bout the folks drivin' Uber and Lyft all day, barely making enough to pay for gas in the first place?
This ain't no academic exercise, this is real life struggle. And while the politicians in D.C. play they little games, people out here tryna survive. Ain't nobody got time for they mess.
They be talking about electric cars, as if my grandma tryna get to dialysis can cop a Tesla with her social security check. This ain't no future fantasy; this is now!
Real talk, the government need to step up and do somethin'. No more talk, no more excuses. Invest in public transportation, cap gas prices, do somethin' to ease the burden on working people. This ain't about votes, this about survival, fam.
And yeah, maybe the prez approval ratings go down when gas prices go up. But that ain't the point. The point is, people hurtin', and they need help. So, stop playin' politics and start doin' what's right.
This ain't no game. This is life or death for some folks. So, let's keep it 100 and tell it like it is. The system broken, and it's time to fix it.
Stop letting these suits gaslight you, literally and figuratively. This is YOUR money, and it shouldn't be going straight to the oil companies while we're all suffering.
The White House got to recognize that the streets are watching. You can't expect the people to prosper with gas prices this high.
Don't let this be the end of the line, dawg. Let's fight back. Power to the people.
