Fo Five-O Years Later, They Finally Catch Up: Bundy Officially Linked to Utah Teen's Murder, Ya Heard?
DNA don't lie, but the system took mad long to give Laura Ann Aime's family some peace; this ain't no win, it's overdue.

Aight, so check it. Half a century done passed, and the Utah PD finally usin' DNA to say what everybody already knew: Ted Bundy smoked Laura Ann Aime back in '74. No cap, this ain't no victory lap, cuz justice hella late.
Seventeen-year-old Laura bounced from a Halloween party, then ended up buzzard food in American Fork Canyon. The Sheriff's Office took 51 years to confirm somethin' Bundy himself confessed to. Slow fade, fr fr.
Bundy, that smooth-talkin' devil, murdered at least 30 women, probably way more. He admitted to killin' Aime before they fried his ass in Florida back in '89. But nah, they kept the case open, just in case a ghost showed up and said, 'My bad, wrong dude.'
Sheriff Mike Smith announced the case closed. Said they'd still fry Bundy if he was alive. Like, duh. What else they gonna do, give him a participation trophy?
But real talk, this whole thing shows how messed up the system is. They worried 'bout everythin' except actually protectin' folks. Bundy was out here playin' cat and mouse for years, and the cops were playin' checkers while he was playin' chess.
Remember, this dude was studyin' law at the University of Utah when he iced Aime. Probably learnin' how to get away with murder in class. It's a cold world, man.
Laura Ann Aime was an "outgoing free spirit who enjoyed outdoor activities.” Meanwhile, Bundy was out here playin' Mr. Nice Guy, lyin' to women, and takin' 'em out. Ain't nothin' changed.
And peep this: Bundy escaped from jail. Twice. The system failed, straight up. They wanna lock up lil' homies for weed, but they let a serial killer walk free. Make it make sense.
So yeah, DNA finally clued 'em in. But the real lesson is, the system ain't built for us. It's slow, it's biased, and it don't give a damn 'bout justice unless it looks good on paper. We gotta look out for each other, cuz ain't nobody else gonna do it. On god.
They can get him for the later crimes, but the families out here sufferin.'
