Dead Wrong: Couple Clapped in Queens Crib, Where the Love At?
71 and 65, gone too soon, stabbed up in they own spot – this ain't right, fam. What's the city doin'?

Aight, listen up. This ain't no joke. A whole elderly couple, 71 and 65, got done dirty in they apartment out in Fresh Meadows, Queens. Stabbed up, left for dead. Man, what kinda sickos do that?
This city wildin' out. Crime goin' up, prices goin' up, and ain't nobody doin' nothin' but talkin'. These folks was somebody's grandparents, somebody's parents. Now they gone, just like that. Over nothin'.
The news sayin' cops still lookin', but we know how that go. They'll drag they feet, maybe catch somebody, maybe not. Meanwhile, the real killers still breathin', still out here terrorizin' the streets.
We gotta look out for each other, man. Can't rely on the system, 'cause the system ain't for us. Check on yo' neighbors, especially the older folks. Make sure they straight, make sure they good. This ain't snitchin', this is survivin'.
And where the resources at? Where the programs for the youth? They got kids out here wildin', feelin' like they got nothin' to lose. Need some jobs, some mentors, somethin' to keep 'em off the streets and out of trouble.
This gentrification mess ain't helpin' either. Pushing folks out they homes, makin' everybody desperate. When people hungry, they do stupid things. Gotta find a way to get people what they need, so they ain't resortin' to violence.
Real talk, this ain't just about this one crime. This about the bigger picture. This about the state of our communities, the lack of opportunity, the disrespect for life. We gotta do better, y'all. We gotta rise up and take care of our own.
Rest in peace to that couple. May they find peace in the next life, 'cause they sure didn't get none in this one. And to the killers, karma comin' for you. Trust that.
Stay safe out there, y'all. Keep your head on a swivel and look out for one another. We all we got.
No cap. This the streets talkin'.
