Dead Bride, Rich Family, Same Old BS: Mother-in-Law Busted in Dowry Death Case
Another sistah dead overseas and they pointin' fingers at the in-laws, but this dowry stuff still ain't right.

Aight, listen up. This story out of India got my blood boiling. This sista, Twisha Sharma, a model and actress, end up dead in her marital home. Five months married, and now she gone? Nah, somethin' ain't addin' up.
Her fam sayin' the husband, Samarth Singh, and his mama, Giribala Singh, was on her neck 'bout that dowry money. Straight up torturin' her, tryin' to squeeze every last rupee out of her. They claim they killed her when she couldn't cough up no more. The Singhs, bein' lawyers and all, deny everything, sayin' she was just stressed and took her own life.
This dowry thing is some straight-up backwards mess. Women ain't property, they ain't ATMs. They human beings. But in some parts of the world, these families still treatin' women like they gotta pay to get married. It's messed up, and it leads to too many stories like this one.
Now the CBI, which is like the Indian feds, done arrested the mother-in-law. The court already took away her get-out-of-jail-free card, sayin' the first judge missed some key evidence. Her son, the husband, already locked up too after he tried to dip. Looks like they ain't playin' no games.
Twisha's fam sayin' she was gettin' harassed from day one. They even claim when she got pregnant, the Singhs accused her of cheatin' and forced her to get rid of the baby. That's cold, man. Real cold. The Singhs, of course, deny all that, sayin' it was her choice.
This whole situation stink. Rich family, dead bride, money involved. It's the same old story, just a different country. But regardless of the background, a life was lost, and somebody gotta pay for that.
It ain't just about the dowry either, tho. This is about respect. This is about treatin' women like they worth somethin'. This is about breakin' these old traditions that keep holdin' people back.
We gotta keep talkin' about this. We gotta keep shinin' a light on these injustices. We gotta let these families know that they can't get away with treatin' women like this. This ain't the old days no more. Times done changed.
To Twisha's family, I'm sendin' my condolences. May she rest in peace, and may justice be served. And to all the women out there who dealin' with this kinda pressure, know that you ain't alone. There's people out here fightin' for you. Stay strong, stay true, and don't let nobody dim your light.
