Camp Mystic Shut Down? Good Riddance, But Don't Let 'Em Off the Hook
That Texas camp where them lil' girls died ain't reopenin', but justice ain't served 'til somebody pays for that negligence, ya heard?

Aight, listen up. That Camp Mystic in Texas, where them 25 lil' girls and two counselors drowned in that flood last year? Yeah, they ain't reopenin'. Word is, they pulled they application after all that heat from the parents and that investigation goin' on. Good riddance, I say.
But don't get it twisted, this ain't no victory parade. Them folks runnin' that camp was playin' wit' them kids' lives. They knew that area was flood-prone, but they still kept sendin' these babies out there. That's straight up negligence, and somebody gotta pay for that.
The camp said they didn't wanna cause no more pain while everybody still grievin'. Man, spare me that BS. They only pulled out 'cause the state was about to deny they license. They ain't doin' this out of the kindness of they hearts. They just tryna save they own skin.
And don't even get me started on them emergency warnings. 130 people died in that flood overall. That whole system failed. How you gonna let that many people die when we got technology to warn folks 'bout this kinda stuff? It's like they don't value Black and brown lives, ya feel me?
Cici and Will Steward, whose daughter still missin', they got it right. They said Camp Mystic didn't do this outta grace, but 'cause the state was gonna shut 'em down. See, they ain't dumb. They know what's really goin' on.
And that lawyer, Sam Taylor? He talkin' 'bout accountability and safeguards. That's cool and all, but what about justice for them families? What about the money they deserve for losin' they kids like that? This ain't just about safety, it's about gettin' paid for the pain and sufferin' they went through.
Now, I heard some folks sayin' they wanted to send they kids back to the camp, like it's some kinda therapy. Nah, man. That's Stockholm Syndrome. You can't go back to the scene of the crime and expect everything to be okay. That trauma gonna be with them kids forever.
This whole situation just shows you how the system is rigged against us. Rich folks runnin' these camps, cuttin' corners to save money, while regular folks like us pay the price. It's the same old story. They don't care 'bout us, they just care 'bout they pockets.
So, yeah, Camp Mystic is closed for now. But we gotta keep the pressure on. We gotta make sure them folks are held accountable, and we gotta fight for better safety regulations for all the summer camps in Texas. Our kids deserve better, and we ain't gonna let 'em get away with this. No cap.
And to all them families who lost they loved ones, I see you, I feel you, and I'm prayin' for you. Stay strong, and don't let nobody tell you how to grieve. Y'all deserve justice, and we ain't gonna stop fightin' 'til we get it.
Real talk.
