Cali Trippin': Newsom Tryna Regulate AI Like He Owns It
Gov tryna flex on Trump wit' dese new rules, but who dis gon' really hurt?

Aight, so check it. Newsom out here in Cali, tryna be all extra with these AI regulations, right? He signed some executive order on March 30th, 2026, sayin' AI companies gotta jump through hoops to do business wit' the state. He claimin' it's 'bout public safety and protectin' the kids, but the streets ain't dumb.
Homie's tryna go against Trump, who's all about lettin' these tech companies do whatever they want. Trump wants AI to be free to innovate without no 'cumbersome regulation,' but Newsom thinkin' different. He wants these companies to prove they ain't spreadin' child porn or some racist algorithms. Word.
Now, on one hand, I get it. AI can be some scary stuff, especially when it comes to bias and discrimination. We already see how tech companies be treatin' Black folks and other minorities. So, yeah, maybe some regulation ain't a bad thing.
But on the other hand, who's really gonna benefit from all this? It ain't gonna be us. These big tech companies got lawyers for days. They'll find a way around these rules, or they'll just move their business somewhere else. Meanwhile, the price of everything keeps goin' up, and we still struggling to make ends meet.
Newsom talkin' 'bout 'ensuring companies protect people’s rights,' but what about protectin' our jobs? What about makin' sure AI ain't takin' over our communities and leavin' us wit' nothin'? That's the real talk. 'Cause at the end of the day, these politicians and these corporations, they only care about one thing: money. They don't give a damn about the people on the ground.
So, yeah, Newsom can flex all he wants wit' these AI regulations. But unless he's really lookin' out for the little guy, it's just another empty promise. Another way for the rich to get richer and the poor to get poorer. Keep it 100.
This ain't no game, tho. This gon' affect how we live, how we eat, and how we survive. We gotta stay woke and pay attention, 'cause ain't nobody else gonna do it for us. Gotta protect our own, ya dig?
