Burberry Bag Got Rich Folks Wildin' Out: Still Ain't Tricklin' Down, Tho
Dem bougie bags sellin' like hotcakes, but the struggle real out here, fam.

Aight, check it. Burberry, that bougie brand y'all see on IG, done bounced back with a grip of profits. They bankin' off this new 'Cotswolds' bag, costin' two Gs, and these rich Americans goin' crazy for it. Said it hit a 'sweet spot'? More like a sweet spot for their wallets, while the rest of us tryna figure out how to pay rent.
Forty-nine million in the green? Good for them. But how much of that money goin' back to the community? How many jobs they creatin' for the folks who really need 'em? I ain't seein' it.
Joshua Schulman, the CEO, talkin' 'bout how this bag doin' numbers 'cause it's the 'Hamptons of England' vibe. Bruh, the Hamptons is where the elites go to flex. We ain't tryna emulate that. We tryna eat.
They phased out the even more expensive bags, like that's some kind of victory. Nah, they just found a way to sell the same status symbol to a slightly wider audience. Still ain't for us, tho.
Burberry's all about appealin' to them 'younger shoppers' now. Translation: gettin' the next generation hooked on this consumerism BS. Teachin' 'em that a bag defines their worth. That's messed up.
They blamin' problems in Europe and the Middle East for slow sales. Always gotta find somebody else to blame, huh? How 'bout blamin' the fact that your products are ridiculously overpriced and out of touch with reality?
This ain't about fashion, it's about power. It's about the haves and the have-nots. Burberry just another reminder that the system ain't built for us to win.
Shares dropped a little? Serves 'em right. The whole thing is built on fluff and smoke anyway. One bad trend and the whole thing could come crashin' down.
So, yeah, Burberry's back on top. But don't expect me to be celebratin'. Until I see that wealth tricklin' down to the people who need it most, I ain't buyin' what they sellin' – literally or figuratively.
I’m tryna get that bread, not chase a logo. Keep it 100, ya dig?
Real talk, tho. These companies need to step up and start investin' in the communities they profit from. Stop just takin' and start givin' back. That's the only way we gonna see real change.
