Brothers Walk Free in Airport Assault Case: System Ain't Built for Us, Fam
Two trials, no verdict? Sounds like another day where the opps get away with it, and the community stays catching heat.

Aight, so peep this: them brothers, Mohammed Fahir Amaaz and Muhammad Amaad, ain't gonna face no third trial for that airport sh*t back in '24. Word is, two juries couldn't make up they minds if they clapped back at that officer, Zachary Marsden. Real talk, this whole thing stinks.
You know how it goes. Video drops, shows the officer lookin' like he's kickin' a man while he's down. Next thing you know, everyone's hollerin' 'bout police brutality and racism. Ain't nothin' new under the sun.
First trial? Hung jury. Second trial, after five weeks of waste man time, still no verdict. Judge throws his hands up, says 'not guilty.' Meanwhile, Amaaz is sittin' in jail from the first trial, already convicted on some other charges related to the same incident. How that even make sense?
And peep this clown, Nigel Farage, runnin' his mouth 'bout how there's a 'reluctance to prosecute those violent thugs.' Real subtle, right? This dude's practically wearin' a white hood in his heart. Judge Flewitt thought that was almost 'contempt of court,' but ain't nothin' happen to Farage, of course.
Prosecutor dude, Paul Greaney KC, says a third trial is only for some super serious sht. This ain't it, apparently. So, it's cool to rough up a cop at the airport, as long as it ain't too* serious? Bet if it was the other way around, they'd be throwin' the book at 'em.
The whole thing started 'cause one of the brothers allegedly checked some dude for disrespectin' they mama, Shameem Akhtar. Gotta defend your queen, I feel that. But then the police roll up, and it turns into a whole damn circus. Allegedly, the brothers start throwin' hands with the officers. Then the tasers and pepper spray come out. That's how they do us, man.
The brothers say they was just defendin' theyselves. Claimed they feared for they lives. I wouldn't doubt it. When you're Black or brown in this system, you always gotta be lookin' over your shoulder.
At the end of the day, these brothers walk, but do they really win? They still gotta live in a world where the police can get away with anything and where the system ain't never on they side. This ain't justice, man. This just another reminder that we gotta watch each other's backs, 'cause ain't nobody else gonna do it for us. Keep your head up, kings. Stay strong.
