Aussie Commish Sayin' Trans Hate Ain't Organic, It's a Setup
Sex Discrimination Commissioner in Australia droppin' truth bombs: the hate against trans folks ain't comin' from the streets, it's a manufactured thing.

Aight, listen up, fam. Down in Australia, the Sex Discrimination Commissioner, Dr. Anna Cody, is speakin' out, and what she's sayin' is real. She's callin' out the fact that all this hate against trans folks ain't just some random thing bubblin' up from the people. Nah, she sayin' it's a straight-up disinformation campaign, like somebody's payin' to make this mess happen.
This ain't no joke either. It's messin' with people's lives, makin' it harder for trans and gender-diverse people to get basic stuff like healthcare, a safe place to live, education, and jobs. Straight up blockin' they progress for no good reason.
Dr. Cody sayin' this mess started poppin' off after that same-sex marriage vote back in '17. Remember how they tried to turn that into a whole thing about trans people bein' a problem? She sayin' that's when the anti-trans stuff really started to get loud, and now it's like somebody's pourin' gasoline on the fire.
"That also coincides with stronger anti-rights movements which are funded [internationally] and which are campaigned internationally," she sayin'. Translation: money behind this, and it ain't local. Social media ain't helpin' either. It's just makin' it easier to spread the lies and keep the hate goin'.
Jeremy Moineau, a trans advocate, hit it right when she sayin' social media be feedin' folks what they wanna hear, even if it's BS. That algorithm keep folks locked in that angry echo chamber, never lettin' them see nothin' else. That's why you see trans people leavin' platforms like X; it's just too toxic outchea.
And it ain't just online hate, either. Dr. Cody pointin' out how trans people gettin' doxed – their personal info leaked for everyone to see. And even though they passed anti-doxxing laws, folks still scared to report it 'cause they know it'll just make the hate worse. System ain't built to protect them, it's build to persecute.
She also sayin' it's messed up that the hate speech laws they passed after that Bondi attack didn't even include LGBTQ+ people. Like they ain't even worth protectin' in the eyes of the law. It's a whole mess, and it shows how much work we gotta do to make sure everybody get treated right.
This ain't just about laws, though. It's about changin' hearts and minds, about teachin' folks to respect each other, no matter what. Gotta start from the bottom up, education in the streets and in the classroom. Callin' out these lies and spreadin' love and understanding.
