A.I. Trippin': Sis Locked Up 5 Months 'Cause of Some BS Algorithm
Fargo PD admit they messed up, but ain't sayin' sorry for throwin' this woman in the cage based on some computer's say-so.
Yo, peep this: Angela Lipps, straight outta Tennessee, got jammed up for FIVE MONTHS 'cause some A.I. system in Fargo, North Dakota, thought she was runnin' a bank fraud scheme. North Dakota?! She ain't never even BEEN there! But the po-po locked her up anyway, based on what, some algorithm? That's some straight-up B.S.
They sayin' they made “missteps.” Missteps?! That's what you call wrongfully imprisoning someone for damn near half a year? Nah, that's a whole lotta steps in the wrong direction. This ain't no game, this is somebody's life we talkin' about.
See, this is how they do us. They bringin' in all this newfangled technology, but ain't thinkin' about the consequences. They just wanna automate everything, take the human element outta the equation. But that's the problem, man! You gotta have real people makin' real decisions, not relyin' on some cold-hearted computer program.
And let's be real, who does this kinda stuff affect the most? Folks who already struggle. People who don't have the resources to fight back. This ain't about justice, it's about control. They tryna keep us down, plain and simple.
This A.I. stuff, it's just another way for the system to mess with people. They can use it to target certain communities, to justify discriminatory practices. It's just another tool in their arsenal to keep the boot on our necks.
And the cops? They just go along with it. They see the A.I. sayin' somethin', they just believe it without question. Ain't doin' no real investigation, ain't thinkin' for themselves. They just followin' orders like robots themselves.
We gotta wake up and see what's goin' on. This ain't about some isolated incident, it's about a pattern. It's about the system workin' against us, usin' technology to perpetuate injustice. We gotta demand accountability, we gotta demand transparency, we gotta demand that they stop treatin' us like we ain't worth nothin'.
Angela Lipps deserves justice. She deserves compensation for the time she lost, the trauma she endured. But more than that, she deserves to be heard. Her story needs to be told, so that this don't happen to nobody else.
We gotta stand up for each other, look out for each other, and fight for what's right. 'Cause if we don't, who will? The system ain't gonna do it for us. We gotta do it ourselves. Real talk.
This ain't about Black or white, this about right and wrong. This about the powerful abusing the powerless. This about fightin' for justice for all.
