They wanna be top dog, and Taiwan's just one piece of the puzzle. For us, though, it's 'bout stayin' alive and seein' another day.

They argue over trade, human rights, and who got the biggest stick in the Pacific. Taiwan's caught in the middle, tryin' not to get squashed. Xi's warning is basically China sayin', 'Don't push us, or we gon' push back harder.'

For those of us on the block, this ain't just headlines. This means potentially more money diverted from programs we need here at home and sent overseas for some war. Sh*t like food deserts, schools and healthcare are already underfunded. That's what we gotta look out for. 'Cause we the ones who gonna feel it first if things go south.

The politicians and billionaires gonna be alright. But what about the single moms workin' two jobs? What about the kids tryna make it out the hood? What about the elders strivin' to make ends meet?

So, while these big shots playin' war games, we gotta stay focused on what's real. We gotta build our own communities, support each other, and demand better from the system. 'Cause at the end of the day, ain't nobody gonna look out for us but us.
