White House Getting New Helipad? Bet They Ain't Fixin' No Potholes in the Hood
While the president flexin' with upgrades, the real issues stay buried six feet deep.
Aight, so check it. They talkin' 'bout Trump, or whoever up in that White House now, tryna get a new helipad. Said the exhaust be scorchin' the grass. Scorchin' the GRASS, y'all! Meanwhile, back in the hood, we got potholes big enough to swallow a whole damn Honda, and they worried 'bout the lawn. That's some real talk, man.
See, this what I'm talkin' 'bout. Different worlds. They got the bread to worry 'bout the landscaping at 1600 Pennsylvania, but we out here fightin' for scraps. Schools still underfunded, hospitals lookin' like a war zone, and they spendin' OUR tax dollars on fresh grass for the president's choppa.
It ain't even 'bout the grass, tho. It's 'bout the priorities. They always lookin' out for themselves, the elite, the one percent. While the folks grindin' every day, tryna make ends meet, get left in the dust. They talk 'bout 'Making America Great Again,' but great for who? 'Cause it ain't lookin' too great from where I'm standin'.
They prolly gonna get some fancy contractors, charge a grip for that helipad. Some of that money gonna disappear in the pockets of the connected, while the homies out here can't even get a loan to start a small business. The system rigged, plain and simple.
And watch, they gonna try to spin it like it's good for the economy, create jobs. But them jobs ain't comin' to the hood. It's always the same story. Promise the world, deliver crumbs.
This ain't nothin' new, tho. Been like this since day one. They buildin' up one world, while the other crumbles. It's like that Tupac line: 'They got money for war, but can't feed the poor.' Still rings true to this day.
So, yeah, they gettin' a new helipad. Good for them. But don't expect us to be clappin'. We got real problems to deal with. Real struggles. And until they start addressin' those, ain't nobody gonna be fooled by the fancy lawns and the shiny helicopters.
Word. We need change, real change. Not just green grass. We need investments in our communities, support for our schools, and opportunities for our people. 'Til then, it's just the same old song and dance.
Keep it 100. Stay woke. Don't let 'em gaslight ya.
Peace.
