Wash Prayin' at Valley Forge? They Tryna Gaslight Us Again.
This image resurfacing? Bet. They tryna rewrite history for their own agenda, ain't nothin' new.
Aight, so peep this. They bringin' back that pic of George Washington prayin' at Valley Forge. Said it's 'gaining prominence' now, especially with folks on the right. Word? They pushin' this narrative 'bout America bein' founded on Christian values. But hold up, ain't nobody checkin' the receipts?
Valley Forge was cold, hungry, and straight up miserable. So ol' boy prayin'? Probably. But using that to say this whole country was built on the Bible? Nah, that's some revisionist history right there. They always tryina change the story to fit their narrative.
This ain't 'bout no faith, it's 'bout power. They tryna use religion to justify they politics, to keep certain folks in charge and others down. Same game, different day. They wanna act like this nation was built for everybody, but they keep pushin' this Christian agenda that ain't includin' folks from other faiths, or folks with no faith at all.
The Founders, they was mostly rich white dudes. Some of 'em religious, some of 'em not. But they all had one thing in common: they wanted power. So they created a system that benefitted them, and they been usin' religion to justify it ever since.
Don't let 'em fool you with this 'Christian nation' talk. This country was built on stolen land and enslaved labor. Ain't nothin' holy 'bout that. They wanna talk 'bout values? How 'bout justice? How 'bout equality? How 'bout treatin' everybody with respect, regardless of they background?
This image resurfacing now ain't no accident. It's a move. They know what they doin'. They tryna rally they base, tryna get them hyped up on this 'America is a Christian nation' BS. But we see through that. We know the real story.
So next time you see that pic of Wash prayin', remember what it really represents: a country built on hypocrisy, where power and privilege trumps everything else. Don't let 'em gaslight you into believin' otherwise. Stay woke.
They tryina sanitize history, make it all nice and neat. But the truth is messy, and it ain't always pretty. We gotta remember the real story, the story of struggle, resistance, and the fight for freedom. That's the story that matters.
Real talk, this image just another example of them tryna control the narrative. We gotta create our own narratives, tell our own stories, and make sure our voices are heard. Keep it a buck, ya heard?
