Uncle Sam Finally On Dat Time? Raúl Castro Indicted for Shootin' Down Planes Back in the Day
Fo' real tho, they finally hit 94-year-old Raúl Castro wit' charges for somethin' that went down in '96? Word.

Aight, listen up. The feds done finally got around to indictin' Raúl Castro, that Cuban cat who used to run things after his brother Fidel bounced. They sayin' he responsible for them planes gettin' shot down way back in '96. That's like, ancient history, but they still comin' for him. This some real 'better late than never' type sh*t.
Now, peep this: they hit him wit' conspiracy to kill US citizens, four counts of murder, and two counts of destruction of aircraft. Basically, back in the day, this group called Brothers to the Rescue, they was flyin' around lookin' for Cubans tryin' to escape the island on rafts and sh*t. Castro wasn't feelin' that, so they say he gave the order to blast 'em outta the sky.
Marco Rubio out here tweetin' (or X-in', whatever) sayin' Cuba's problems ain't 'cause of the US embargo, but 'cause the government be stealin' all the bread. That might be true, but that embargo ain't helpin' nobody, ya feel me? Meanwhile, Cuba's sayin' the US just tryna justify aggression. Same old song and dance.
Now, you know the Cuban-American folks down in Miami ain't playin'. They been waitin' for some kinda justice for years. To them, the Castros was straight villains, runnin' Cuba like a plantation. But for real tho, this ain't gonna bring nobody back. It's just some paper, ya know?
Let's keep it 100. Ain't no way Raúl Castro gonna see the inside of a US courtroom. Dude ain't leavin' Cuba. But this indictment, it's a message. It's sayin' America don't forget, even if it takes 'em 30 years to do somethin' about it.
Real talk, it's the families of them Brothers to the Rescue pilots I feel for. They lost they loved ones, and all they get is this? It's a start, but it ain't enough. This whole situation just shows you how messy politics can be, and how long it takes for justice to even look like it's comin'.
They gotta find a way to help the Cuban people out there tho. All the political BS between the governments don't matter when folks starvin' and can't get no lights.
I’m just sayin', ain’t nothin’ gonna change if things don't get shaken up. Time to think outside the box on how to deal wit' Cuba, frfr.
