UCF Grads Know the Deal: AI Comin' for Our Jobs, No Cap
That lady talkin' 'bout AI like it's a good thing? Nah, fam, we see through the BS.

Orlando, FL – Straight up, that graduation at UCF was wild. This lady, some big shot in real estate, gets up there talkin' 'bout AI bein' the "next Industrial Revolution." But the grads ain't feelin' it, nahmean? They booed her ass right off the stage. And I ain't mad at 'em one bit.
See, this AI thing ain't no game. These kids know what's up. They see these companies layin' off workers left and right, replacin' 'em with bots and algorithms. They know AI ain't gonna bring no jobs to the hood. It's gonna take 'em away. So when this lady starts pumpin' up AI like it's the second comin', they ain't gonna stand for it.
She was all like, "We're living in a time of profound change." No duh, Sherlock. Change ain't always good. Especially when it means you can't feed your family. She tried to play it off, asked, "Woop, what happened?" like she didn't know she was steppin' on some toes. But these grads ain't buyin' it.
Then she tries to compare it to when the internet came out. "Back then," she said, "we had no idea how these technologies would impact the world." But that's different! The internet created new jobs. AI is destroyin' 'em. It's a whole different ballgame.
These students know the pressure is on. They gotta pick a major that's "AI-proof." What is that even? Ain't nothin' safe no more. Even artists and writers are gettin' replaced by AI. It's a scary time to be comin' out of college. They spent all that bread on tuition and now they might be workin' at McDonalds.
A 2025 poll from Harvard Kennedy School shows most grads see AI as a threat to their jobs. Real talk, that's facts. It ain't just paranoia; it's reality. Tech CEOs be braggin' 'bout how AI can do the work of ten people. Who needs to hire when you got a robot that works 24/7 for free?
This ain't just a UCF thing. This is happenin' all over the country. The whole system is rigged against us. They tell us to go to college, get an education, but then they turn around and replace us with machines. Where's the loyalty? Where's the opportunity?
The university ain't say nothin' about it, either. They probably kissin' up to these tech companies, hopin' for some donations. They don't care about the students. They care about the bag.
But the grads speakin' up showed something. They got fire in their belly. They ain't gonna take this lyin' down. They gonna fight for their futures. And that's what we gotta do too. We gotta organize, we gotta demand change, and we gotta make sure these tech companies ain't runnin' roughshod over our lives. This AI thing might be the "next Industrial Revolution," but we gotta make sure it's a revolution for everybody, not just the rich and powerful. Fo'real.
This is bigger than just jobs though. This is about who controls the future. We gotta have a seat at the table. We gotta be the ones designin' this technology, not just the ones gettin' replaced by it. It's time to level up and get that bread.
